remove the salary cap rorts/loopholes (third party deals, backloading deals in hopes of rises), and properly enforce the salary cap fairly.

Can't do this until such a time as a fair TV deal is negotiated. This 3rd party system is filling a gap until such a time as we can offer the kinds of salaries the AFL do (Who for that matter have their own issues of looking the other way with certain clubs BS 3rd party deals)

Everything we want them to do is reliant on this next tv deal. It is just so important for the games future.

So obviously, the first big picture item is obviously the TV deal. Tied into this, is a concrete plan for expansion, so we can go to the networks and offer a gaurenteed number of games each week.

1. Have a vision
2. Continue to raise awareness of club membership . Hopefully Double club membership over 5 year timeline.
3. Expand to W.A and one other area.
4. Continue to support growth areas of the game. No point expanding if your not willing to support it. So support will be needed on all levels.
5. Grow revenue streams so clubs can actually make some money. Our clubs have been cash strapped for far to long.

6. Continue to build relationships with the community.
7. Get a huge TV deal. We need money to compete with other sports.

Bring in the Central Coast Bears:
Time to overcome the vision-less, corrupt, incompetent, embarrassing rubbish we've seen in the last 11 years.

Bring back the Bears and Jets, (Brisbane Jets, Adelaide Bears, Perth Dragons) relocate a couple of sydney teams, lift the cap, lift the age in the Toyota cup.

Bring back the Bears.
Bring in a Perth team.
Relocate the Sharks to Adelaide.
Merge the Roosters and Manly.
Bring in another QLD team.
There's your 18 teams.

And most imporantly of all, get a bloody good tv deal.

TV Deal takes prominence - give it to a channel who wants to show the game at a decent time on FTA all around Australia. Then expansion, salary cap issues and grass-roots growth should more easily fall into place.

what rot.

What we need to do is stop acting like chicken little every time a diva leaves the NRL.

A strong and exciting (read: even) comp is more important than any invididual players.

1. New teams: Central Coast, Perth.
2. Raise the salary cap.
3. Improve the TV deals.
4. Improve marketing and media representation.
5. Strict codes of conduct for all players in the NRL.

What they shouldn't do:
1. Cull teams.
2. Create an Adelaide team (yet).
