Fellas, do you really want MITS and HJ in the Swamp? Then it wold become "Smith, We All Must Praise", instead of what it should be: "Smithy, Wagon and Mick vella Punt!"

BAY57? is that on the north hill?

i would seriously be all for this if not for wigs and t-shirts, i'd be more inclined to jump in as an adopted member at away games, as the girls and i already have our seats for home games.
Perhaps one of you swampies could mention extending the group to away games? a big travelling army like the old days?
I remember when Nikki first started taking me to away games with the big blue and gold army how much fun it was to be one of a huge group, chanting, singing, waving flags and making ourselves known. the same group made parramatta stadium such a daunting place to come to for the opposition...
who else would be in for this?

Well... putting one and one together to make 3: bay 56 and bay 57 are right next to each other, aren't they? (wow!) don't say the people in 56 arent making any noise, coz occasionally we do try and if the swamp is right next to 56, then I dont see why the two bays *together* can't try and make a bit of noise. Hell. I'll even bring the other trumpet .

Jess - Im in! Bloody good idea. I think that would be great to get that going again. Somehow.

I don;t understand how there could be three seperate groups...well I can understand it it just that you are all sitting close togather. Why not join in as one and get organised. You don;t need ther club to help with that.

You guys seem disjointed.

The Burrow will show you how it's done on Monday.....

Great Idea having the Blue and Gold army on the road again, ahhh memories of Canberra in mid Winter on a Saturday night lol.
Hopefully the move to bay 57 is part of the plan to create a bigger group on the Hill and not have two competing fan groups start up different chants etc

I hope you bring your singing voices because the Burrow will be in Bay 58 and we are the loudest and most fanatical fan group around. Your gonna need a hell of an effort to knock us off our perch, even at a souths away game.

I hope it works, but I honestly do think the wigs make us as a club look a little cheap. Just my opinion. But yeah i was there in the Parraletic days and saw the EWO develop and I just hope that the b*tchyness and in-fighting dont creep into it. But I am definately up for the away game thing. Getting a huge, chanting crowd together would be awesome.

Can everyone remmber the sevens last year when we got the army together at bay 23 at the SFS. Tht was awesome and I think we should be aiming at that for our home games on the hill/

Can't speak for the others but I'll definately be joining in anything the 'maniacs start going, especially now that some uppity Rabbitohs have been outspoken about outvocalising us. Good that they have been moved to 57 as well, which is closer to the centre and the small group of people that are regulars there.

But damn, they need to actually spend some money on some outfits that actually look good. Even those Eel masks would be better than totally irrelevant wigs and neon shirts. Maybe this 3rd group will invest something in them and get something decent going. Currently the look is very cheap and quite atrocious, to be honest. Perhaps the Club is just testing the water and waiting to see the reponse they get before they decide whether to shell out any decent cash for outfits and so forth.

I would prefer the glittery blue and gold "tinsel hair" wigs that you used to get at the show. I would wear one of those before I wore a clown wig. And do you get to keep your own wig or are they handed back at the end of the game and re-issued the next game. Thats kinda festy...

The thing we have on our side is that you guys rarely have anything to chant about, except your own demise.
