Whats your expectations for Tompkins

He seemed to go more than OK in the Super League GF. He beat about 63 players with a run off his own line in the first half.

The run reminded me of Dugan.
A solid performance in the final, but nothing spectacular, held up over the line, grubber kick that went dead, caught out of position for one of Warrington's tries.
A try assist and a drop by his winger that was a sitter.
Didn't drop a ball at the back.
A solid player but a marquee player????

Loved how the first aid/trainers get the oxygen mask out for everyone that gets hurt!
Man I hate how small the in goals are, basically elimates the grubber.

Trust me, I've watched him play for the last 6 years... He's a match winner and a special player. If you guys don't want him please send him back to us at Wigan. It's no coincidence that in the last 2 seasons wigan have only won one game when Sam hasn't played. They've lost the rest. He will live with the NRL. He is more than capable.

Might wait to see what sort of team surrounds him before worrying about expectation. Seems to be more changes coming than a fashion show runway at the Warriors right now.

144 tries in 152 appearances doesn't do the stats justice. If you have a winger of the quality of Josh Charnley he'll be an assist machine. Can't find the stats for how many he's got in the last 5 years but it'll be well over a 100.

He used to but when you've got Pat Richards in your side who can smash it 3/4 of the pitch you're not really needed...

In regular SL matches (he's played 118 of those, counting when he was a sub in his first year) since his debut he's on 101 tries and 96 assists. So yeah overall he'll be well over 100 assists.

Hardly surprising...

Also, is it just me or does Perenara seem like he's on the take? Really terrible refereeing performance from him so far (halftime now).

first time watching him since the 4 nations a few years ago.

He was awesome in that first half and he looks like he could handle playing 5/8.

A solid game, a couple of good kicks to corners, only blight was being out jumped by GI and mistake in front of posts.
He seemed to be given time by the defense to dance around a bit.
