I think Stone is, maybe?

Pretty sure the other two are development squad.

I’ve got no idea but for some reason I thought Greg L was

I'd say we've kept one slot open until 30 June and these 29 guys I'd say are all Top 30.

Gutherson, Hayne, Salmon, Smith, Takairangi, French, Auva'a, Davis, Hoffman, G.Jennings, M.Jennings, Moses, Norman, King, K. Pritchard, Edwards, Gower, Ma'u, Moeroa, Niukore, Scott, Williams, Alvaro, Brown, Evans, Mannah, Matagi, Terepo, Vave.

Salmon I can see being the only one not in the Top 30.

We are 0-6. We have lost our last 8 games. We can not score points. Our discipline is f**king terrible. We are showing no improvement. The players are obviosuly not responding to whatever BA is implementing at training. It is time for BA to go
It’s possible he has been here too long.

I think it might even be probable.

The only current coaches who have been at their clubs as long as BA are Bellamy, Flanagan, Green and Mcgregor 3 of them have won premierships in that time. BA has won SFA. And there are even signs that a couple of them may be starting to out stay their welcome too.

Agreed, however will BA hang around? He must be starting to doubt himself and walking away would seem like an easy option.
This could be the last job he ever gets making half a million dollars per year. No chance he will walk away. He’s got kids to feed, and then a very long retirement in front of him. There would be nothing easy about quitting this job.

I agree but sometimes money isn’t worth the mental anguish, however it’s easy for me to say I’ve never had a 1/2 million paying job

I would do two things at the end of this season.

1. Punt BA.
2. Bring back Brian Smith as coach for two seasons and two seasons ONLY.

I believe that there are no great coaches available at this point in time. Therefore what's the point in hiring a so so coach or a total lemon? On the other hand Brian Smith is a genius coach/tactician. He is also a master recruiter. I suspect he was the silent hand behind the scene that did the recruiting for the Warriors this last off season.

Anyway, his biggest floor is his arsehole personality, but that is why you only hire him for two years. He has always had very good success in his first two or three years. It is only after that that the rot sets in and that is why I have always said, he is the perfect coach to clean out and rebuild a club from scratch. He is brilliant at that. And at this point, that is exactly what we need.

Besides he loves Parra and he feels like this is his main club. I think he would be very pleased and appreciative that we brought him back home. Also I think someone like Mitchell Moses would benefit immensely from BS's brilliant analytical mind and tactical know how.

Now the reason for the two seasons is this. In the second season we make a huge play for both Ivan and Nathan Cleary. They are both off contract at the same time I believe and they are the two long term guys that I would build this club around over the following five to ten years.

Also, just to be clear. I hated having BS here as coach after the 3rd or 4th season. He more then outstayed his welcome and became a huge liability to this club ever having greater success. As we all know he becomes toxic after the initial 2 year period. So we have to be real strict on that no matter how well he goes. We should all remember how quickly it goes pear shaped. The Cleary's should be our long term plan.

Anyway that is what I think. He is the only guy out there at present that can make us semifinalist next season and even vying for the premiership within his two years, but then bring in Cleary to win the freakin thing.

if not as coach then maybe in some general manager role like gus at the panthers

be serious now why would either of them leave successful clubs on the rise to go to the probable wooden spooners no matter what money we offered them?

Ram is pretty easy to just look at which coach or players are at the top of their game and then just post here that we should recruit them. Cos that is what you do time and time again.

As Paul Green will attest, having an impressive roster and coach with track record does not always convert to success. Green is 1-5 with a monster foward pack has GOAT Toumolololol and morgan and still can’t jag a win.

Did you even understand what you read? BS will have been here for 2 seasons and most probably made us a top 8 team by then.

Give up then. I go with previous results that will hopefully have a better chance of success. What has Nathan Brown been spouting about the Knights success? They went out and bought winners that had been at successful clubs that knew how to win. Good enough for me.

Brown picked up players from other clubs cleanouts. Other than Ponga, he signed Rooster discards from the cleanout or journeymen.

He is lucky that it has worked for him so far, but he hardly signed players at the top of their game.

Surely you dont think that it’s a formula that we should follow ?

Yes, but it all plays a part in your image and your stability as a club.

Did the Roosters sack Trent Robinson when they struggled?

You blokes want to be more like the Roosters and the Broncos of the competition, well guess what? It starts off the field....

Why would the Roosters sack Robinson? They struggled because of early season injuries and Pearce's suspension.

All 3 of them had shit seasons with their last club too (maybe less so toovey) .... i wouldnt be confident they would improve us

Mate , every coach who gets replaced had a shit last season. But all three have won premierships.

Sacking Arthur is not the answer. He deserves way more than this for the shit he has been through at this club and he doesn't just turn up for a paycheck.

There are obviously a few players who aren't happy for whatever reason. Bevan French's performance last night was disgusting. He should be playing for wenty next week.
