Wheres Your Loyalty?

Blaming injuries, how predictable and pathetic. We've blamed injuries for the past five years, when will that excuse wear thin?

Other clubs manage their injuries, why can't we? Because our dinosaur in charge move players out of position to cover for injuries and reshuffles the entire side causing us to lose balance and stability.

And don't kid yourself - I guarantee you if Lui didn't get injured Moltzen still would have been at fullback. Sheens is a stubborn old man.

Can I get your comment on the following:

- Playing 16 players in 30 degree heat
- Picking Daniel Fitzhenry every week
- Naming wingers on the bench and playing them for 2 minutes (or sometimes not at all)
- Moving Farah to half after this FAILED two years ago
- Persisting with John Morris in the halves for more than two years when it was obviously a failure
- Naming benches with less impact than my pillow
- Playing players out of position (hookers at half, halves at hooker, second rowers at hooker etc. etc. etc.)

Mate, wake up. Players have come and gone. We've gone through support staff. We've changed CEO's. We've signed players like Ellis and Tuqiri. One thing remains the same and that is our myth of a coach and his useless gnome sidekick and of course our results which have been the same in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and now 2010.

Dont forget "the fans dont no what there talking about benji is our long term number 7"

Thanks N.C. everyone does have the right to an opinon - the outlet known as a forum allows each to voice theirs.

I think I upset macnaz though. He needs to calm down.

Well i guess we aint allowed to have an opinion on sheens because f**kwits like u come on here and question our loyalty.

Decisions need to be made. He tried Lazarus and Lui at halfback. They didnt have an immediate impact so he changed to Farah at Halfback..

Hmm and who's first post started with this quote "Do you expect a new player to 1st Grade to perform straight away (it seems alot of you do). I guarantee if you track the performance of some of our superstars at the moment (including Benji, Ayshford and Co.) they all had ordinary initial games in the NRL" So within 5 days of questioning peoples loyalties because you percieved we didnt give players a chance you THEN DEFEND the coach for doing the EXACT same thing.

So not only are you an insulting wanker you are also a HYPOCRITE . l

PS. My last post here on this thread so fire away kok smoker , you wont be getting a reply.

Pisstake or not, this is a pretty good thread. It's a shame that the same tired old lines have to be brought out every time a hater-hater comes into the forum, but it's good to have them all nicely summarised in this discussion.

I'm going to take it further, and summarise the problem with Sheens in a single throwaway statement: we are over-coached by a perfectionist.

All the problems that have been raised in this thread stem from this. He's coaching a team of players, not players in a team. Any player who has not regularly trained in their position with the side will struggle to fit in or fill another position. This is why he reshuffles players rather than bring in "specialists" who aren't familiar with "how the team is supposed to work". Even players who do train with the side but don't "gel" with his style will struggle - as was the case with Matty Head (did someone ask who else would play halfback when J-Mo was in the side?) And when an A-list player goes down, the whole team starts to fall apart, and it's too late to start again from scratch.

Sheens doesn't coach to a game plan. He coaches a high performance machine. When it fires, it is beautiful to watch. But when you lose one of your precision parts it can be hard to find a replacement. Moving things around tends to minimise the impact, but it wont solve your problem. Your problem is unsolveable - you are coaching a side in a 30 week competition where injuries are the norm and your depth will always be tested, but you're coaching it like you're entering an annual drag race event. Death or glory. You miss your shot, you've got another year to spend tweaking the machine, trying to toughen it up and iron out the kinks, before having another crack at it next year...

Meanwhile everyone else is running an old jalopy with a few good modifications and some high octane fuel - nothing that can't be replaced if it breaks down.

It's like that old saying - you put all your eggs in one basket and the basket breaks, you're f*cked. It's too late for Sheens to go back to the drawing board with Wests Tigers, which is what needs to happen. It's time he let someone else come in and simplify our game. Time to turn the delicate Ferrari into a robust Ford.

Brilliant post.

I think some people believe loyalty means blindly accpeting everything that happens and being happy with it.

Loyalty is sticking with your team, through thick and thin. We're still all here talking and supporting our team. we go/watch every game we possibly can.

We make criticisms and give praise when warranted and more foten than not it is constructive.

Accepting mediocrity is not loyalty, it is stupidity and shows a lack of care.

Wanting to see your team succeed and sticking with them through the hard times as well as the good is loyalty.

The fact we all turn up every day to talk the good, bad and indifferent about the team and the game shows our passion.

I think you've got loyalty confused with something stupid.
If that`s your definition of loyalty, I wish you change teams. We at the Weststigers don`t need fans with your ignorance and disrespectfull ways of opinions on the team, you people pretend to know more than the coach, what are the chances that you an ignorant fan knows more that the coach, I tell you big fat cero. Have a nice day

Seems to me like alot of you guys are more loyal to the comments made from people within your tight little group here rather than being loyal to the team that apparently you love.

Neo is right we dont need that kind of support. Yous were the same supporters that switch off the radio when we dont do so well but are the first to judge someone who has involvement with the team.

Macnaz - the difference between me and you is that I dont expect my team to outperform each week - you do. I am happy to go through blooding a 1st grader and taking the chance he is not ready to perform that particular week - your not.

Lets throw you into something that your not 100% confident in and line up people to watch you that are going to constantly srutinise every move you make (who gives a f**k if its the correct spelling). Lets see how motivated you feel to come back and try and make it right.

Support my friend is acceptance & undertsanding. Its when someone allows another to strive for something higher but not necessarily exceed straight away. Its similar to faith.

Remember this - every failure is one step closer to success. You might wanna jot that down somewhere when Sheensie brings in some new blood that your ready to shoot down.

Thanks for calling me a wanka & kok smoker too - hope that made you feel better in your last post in this thread.

Macnaz -ill bring this point up again - you should feel embarrassed and any tigers supported feel betrayed that you have a misconfigured picture of Sheens as your symbol.

Hope you havent ever promised you have someones back champ. :)

whats a cero?

Furthermore, why don't you f**k off to the official tigers forum where you all give each blowjobs and take great joy in watching our top 5 side consistently finish in the lower half of the draw, because thats just so enjoyable isn't it.

There's nothing we love more than watching a team of quality players constantly getting beaten by the most average of sides using the most basic and obvious gameplans.

But hey, I'm not loyal, I only spend hundreds of dollars each year on merchandise and hundreds more going to NSW Cup games, NRL games and the like.

And hundreds more again on Pay TV just so I can watch them.

Go f**k yourself you softcock

"Pucker up boys! It's hammer time"

"Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them
along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame
set at gas mark egg on your face!"

Unit - how was the pie?

Ah Knee Deep in calm water, I take a short smoothe effortless cast. The fresh smell of the lake.

You feel your line for a moment. Your calm thoughts drift across the water and your body soaks up the sunshine.

Then you feel a little nibble then suddenly... BANG! You real it in slowly with more emphasis on looking as though you are struggling rather than actually doing so.

It was another bream. You kiss it and release it, a tiny bit of blood coming from its tiny mouth. It will stop bleeding but the scar will take time to heal.

Not a big catch, not a unique catch. Nevertheless almost as satisfying as a big catch!

You sound like such a queer little merkin.

Obviously I don't even know you, but just from reading your posts, you're the sort of smug person I hate the most, you get some sort of satisfaction from trying to stir up trouble. I bet you write your comments then refresh your computer every 20 seconds to see if you got a 'bite'.

I hate that you're a Tigers fan.
