I'm a child of '81, so most of the above mentioned cartoons I watched and enjoyed. Like some of you have said, the cartoons kids are fed these days are utter sh*t. Give 'em Looney Tunes instead of half the current crap. Looney Tunes are timeless.

Gumby (albeit Gumby was claymation and not an animated cartoon ... and Gumby was crap to me as a kid even back then!)

On a side note, I was recently talking to a couple of 17yr old girls who had no idea who Yogi Bear was. They had never heard of him ... and they're only 10 years younger than I am. Disgraceful I thought! I was gobsmacked that they'd never heard of him.

I missed those ones ... I'm a few years too old.

I used to love watching Agro's Cartoon Connection on school holiday mornings (wasn't allowed to watch them on school days), but come Christmas holidays, I used to hate it when they took off the regular cartoons and put on all these dodgy Christmas kids shows instead. There's only so many times one can watch those claymation shows about how Rudolph got his glowing red nose ..!
