It?s tough to follow an NBA team as I have no loyalty to any particular city but I want to select a team and run with it in the future. In the past I have liked Spurs [massive David Robinson fan], Detroit [Sheed, Big Ben, Billups] but I wouldn?t call myself an ex-Spurs or ex-Pistons fan.
Now, I need to make a decision on an NBA team, I am thinking the Brooklyn Nets [Deron, JJ, Wallace & Lopez], Indiana Pacers [Hibbert & Granger], Golden State Warriors [Curry & Bogut] or Minnesota Timberwolves [Kevin Love, AK-47 & Ricky Rubio] - I guess you could put the Trailblazers in the mix as well.
I?m torn but leaning towards the Nets, basically a new franchise, rebuilding team.
Any ideas?
As much as I have tried I don't think I can pledge of allegiance to one NBA team. I think it's due to that there is minimal loyalty in the NBA and they I have no connection with any of the cities in America. It?s tough to follow an NBA team as I have no loyalty to any particular city but I want to select a team and run with it in the future. That's fair enough. I know people who follow players more than sticking with an actual team or just enjoy it as a neutral. As much as I have tried I don't think I can pledge of allegiance to one NBA team. I think I will be an atheist and just follow players rather than a team.
I'm more interested on how players in my FNBA team are going rather than the Brooklyn Nets - which is disappointing but I still love the game.
Where I'm completely opposite to the NBL [yes, it's still going!] - I'm a passionate Perth Wildcats fan, where my family are season members and we go to all the members functions etc. That's fair enough. I've been lucky with the Spurs, same core 3 for pretty much 10+ years and David Robinson from back in the 90s (my reason for originally going for them) played out his whole career there.
