Philadelphia 76ers all the way cause of AI. And now cause of JTI - Collins can go and get f'd with the way he has been treating turner, but a good game today against the hawks with Lou Will not playing the last 6mins of the 4th! SOO happy with that

Los Angeles Lakers

Got sucked in onto the bandwagon back in the very early Shaq and Kobe days. It was hard not too, such history and so many amazing players having played there.

Was a sonics fan during the 90s. Kemp & Payton all the way. Unlucky they had to face the Jordan lead bulls in the finals that year.

These days I don't mind the Magic for Dwight Howard... Have a soft spot for the Timberwolves as well.

It’s tough to follow an NBA team as I have no loyalty to any particular city but I want to select a team and run with it in the future. In the past I have liked Spurs [massive David Robinson fan], Detroit [Sheed, Big Ben, Billups] but I wouldn’t call myself an ex-Spurs or ex-Pistons fan.

Now, I need to make a decision on an NBA team, I am thinking the Brooklyn Nets [Deron, JJ, Wallace & Lopez], Indiana Pacers [Hibbert & Granger], Golden State Warriors [Curry & Bogut] or Minnesota Timberwolves [Kevin Love, AK-47 & Ricky Rubio] - I guess you could put the Trailblazers in the mix as well.

I’m torn but leaning towards the Nets, basically a new franchise, rebuilding team.

Any ideas?

I'm a Mavs fan. I was playing NBA Live 2004 and played as Dallas one day. I liked Dirk and Nash. Been a huge Dallas, and NBA fan, ever since. Lame story, I know.

Before that I followed the NBA loosely. I liked Reggie Miller but I wouldnt call myself a Pacers fan.

Don't bother with Indy they'll just get your hopes up and flush them down the toilet. Follow the Bulls or another decent contender.

Not trying to persuade you.. its your choice.. but i find the Brooklyn Nets very apealing... If i didnt have a team id find it hard not jumping on them.

Brooklyn would certainly be a good team for a newb to support. Other than Joe Johnson's massive contract they are building a solid team, one of the best starting 5's in the league.

I've gone for the Clippers since I was a little kid after playing NBA Hangtime on my old Nintendo 64. I wasn't really interested in them properly till about 2007.

I go for Milwaukee. Mainly because in 2007 I was starting to watch the NBA and found the first Australian player I could. Been a massive fan ever since.

In the NBA Live story for me I would say the Clippers but I have played as Clippers, Nets, Pistons, Nuggets, Knicks (don't like them though), Pacers, Timberwolves, Bucks and Trailblazers.

I have a soft spot for the Warriors and the Kings.

I would say either Clippers, Warriors or Nuggets

As much as I have tried I don't think I can pledge of allegiance to one NBA team. I think it's due to that there is minimal loyalty in the NBA and they I have no connection with any of the cities in America.

I think I will be an atheist and just follow players rather than a team.

I'm more interested on how players in my FNBA team are going rather than the Brooklyn Nets - which is disappointing but I still love the game.

Nothing wrong with that.. its typical of the NBA. As you tend to favor liking teams due to certain players.
I'm loving the Knicks atm..

I just go for the little brothers like the Clippers, Nets etc and the teams I play as in NBA computer games

It's better to just enjoy a game sometimes but you will always find yourself cheering for someone.

That's fair enough. I know people who follow players more than sticking with an actual team or just enjoy it as a neutral.

I've been lucky with the Spurs, same core 3 for pretty much 10+ years and David Robinson from back in the 90s (my reason for originally going for them) played out his whole career there.

Where I'm completely opposite to the NBL [yes, it's still going!] - I'm a passionate Perth Wildcats fan, where my family are season members and we go to all the members functions etc.

It's a different game all together!

Starting following the NBA as of this week, slightly gotten into NBA 2k13 and i've started getting interest in the nba (similar way with what madden did for me with NFL, now I love NFL).

For no real reason at all, I started following / playing as Boston Celtics, I've heard they're pretty mainstream to support, but I don't really mind. Too bad we went down to the timberwolves in the first game I watched..
