Which team adds the least to NRL?

Definitely the sharks.
They're holding the world back and adding to climate change.
Probably propping up regimes in Syria, N Korea and Iran as well.

Slight over-reaction. But yeah, you're mind is slowly grasping the intangible that is...death by a thousand cuts.

There is already a merger between the Roosters and Souths at junior level. And it is a disaster, filled with spite and hatred. That would only be worse at senior level.

Then the people that run that need to get their heads out of their arses, get their egos under control, leave petty hatreds aside and realise that they are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

So according to you hardbaby, The Roosters, Souths and the Sharks are all going down the tubes. Anyone else?

P.S Can you please post empirical evidence substantiating this claim. K Thanks.

If you are going to post, at least read what has been said first. My comment is referencing a previous post about a merger between two sets of juniors. It is all about those juniors and for most young kids they play in their neighbourhood. Umm. Der!

As for juniors playing with local clubs, I'm a Dragons supporter. Happy to say, we have heaps and will continue to do so. Even when we lose them at least we got them on the road and I wish them the best of luck, regardless of where they play.

Who do you support? Oh yeah. Makes sense now. Imbecile.

I don't see any of these teams going down the tubes. They will be different but I hope they exist. And no I don't see (or hope for) anybody else. Manly needs to grow into the North Shore. When they lost the Bears, they lost an area. Hopefully they'll get that back over time.

Re empirical evidence we are talking about the future. It's rationalism not empiricism or is that one mental bridge too far for you?

So we dump existing fans and concentrate on possible fans who may not take the code up? I thought the idea was to hang on to existing fans and build from there!

It depends on where the fans are and how many other potential fans are in the area. I live in WA and Perth are gagging for a franchise. They'll sell out 20 000 easily and they have heaps of corporate sponsorship + adding to the tv rights because of the time difference. Compare that to say, Cronulla.

If you ran a business what would you do? Because this new bloke that's been appointed to the NRL is a businessman. And that is exactly why he was appointed (just like the new rugby bloke). He is not going to destroy the fabric of the game (I dearly hope) but he isn't going to ignore shitloads of money/supporters either.

Whats one mental bridge too far is your ability to speak with absolute authority about what clubs should and shouldnt do when you dont have a clue about anything.

No rebuttal. Just emotion. That's always a good sign.

Ill tell that to my mate who gives up hundreds of hours and unquantifiable financial sacrifice to run the Roosters juniors then.

He'll do exactly what Gyngell and co tell him to do, nothing more, nothing less.

This is probably the way its going to be for the next few years. Gyngell will make hay while the sun shines.

As soon as the negotiation next round of rights starts, that will change, depending on the landscape.

If the ARLC aren't already investigating how to control the broadcasts themselves via IP TV, which will be massively improved in 5 years time, they they could be in trouble.

Commercial TV, due to its blandness, shit programming and the ability for people to no longer depend on it for news etc will see it go the way of the CD shop.

Internet killed the TV star.

I cancelled Foxtel at Christmas due to moving interstate and I must say that free to air is just pathetic. Nothing at all of substance or value. Not even much of any interest at all.

Fox has Music, Nat Geo, History, The Kardashians and Toddlers in Tiaras. Ok. The last two are the most gaul inducing shit ever to come out of the US, but you get my drift.

Why the f**k do we have to lose any teams, or merge teams which would be absolute disaster's waiting to happen??? What for a team in Adelaide??? lol get farked most of those Tards don't know there are two forms of Rugby. Didn't we learn anything from the superleague abortion???? The game is really only know just getting back towards where it was before that shitfight. We just signed a billion dollar deal and the game has never been healthier. In the next five years we should be looking for a second team in Brisbane and one in WA, if a team falls over before than so be it but why and tinker with something that is not broken???
