Who are we buying for 2021 onwards

Because our halves situation is a dogs breakfast and Warriors management may be reassessing things
Exactly, Walsh showing potential as a 6 and our current halves are not working. Given they have not had many games together due to injuries.
But I suspect Walsh has been promised fullbacks to get him to the club.

But we're signing DWZ as a winger right? To replace Ken? Why is everyone talking about him at fullback when that's obviously Walsh's spot next year.
and I just don't think DWZ wants to play wing... obviously if he signs he plays where he's selected, but I don't think he'd sign for a club if they're saying "we see you on the wing"

Could be (probably am) 100% wrong

what about a hooker to complement Egan

I'm guessing we're about to see what the guy they seem to be grooming long term has - 18yo Taniela Otukolo (edit: my bad, he just turned 19 recently), who they (meaning O'Sullivan) apparently have absolutely massive wraps on. Probably from the bench (or even not straight into the 17 - that would be irritating though, I *don't* want a hooker rotation of Siro & Jazz) at first.

Would be a HUGE step up for the kid though... pretty sure he hasn't even played senior reserve grade yet. Has been playing colts for the Dolphins this year.

If he is going to play NRL why don’t they play him in Senior reserves to prep him

Hearing rumours that Warriors are going to talk to Dufty

surely we can’t afford Nikorima, Walsh and Dufty in the same side - defence would leak points

We wanted Dufty before. Not sure if thats a current rumour.

It's starting to look more and more like Walsh is seen as a 6 and we are trying to get a fullback to replace him.

Is that off that Warriors instagram post? I'm taking it as bullshit. Until I see some actual journalists picking up on it.

I hope that's the case anyway..

With CHT out for the rest of the season, i'd be trying to get Corey Norman across for the rest of this year. Could be good for both parties. We need more direction in the halves.

This year only though.

I definitely think a ball playing middle/Mr fix it type role suits CHT.

If we're that committed to him being a half long term, play him in ressies to develop the kicking game to do it.

The big hits are great, but that's not what you pick a half back to do.

Is he durable enough to last in the NRL with a role like that? He is already compiling quite the injury record.

Yeah... Turner leaving was a bit weird. We wanted to sign him and he would have played first grade with us (our halves aren't much better than theirs). Plus it was reported that we offered more money.

Should have kept Perham aswell.

That's actually pretty worrying from a general point of view.
