I'd like to see Penrith or Wests Tigers walk away with it. Penrith more because they have gone longer without the title. I find that their talent and ability to bring so many youngsters together to form the great squad they have is amazing. The Tigers... well another Western team I'd like to see walk away with it (behind Penrith) - I mainly want this GWS crap to fall over before it even begins. I want them to leave our RL goldmine alone!
Manly - No. Definitely not. We are big rivals with them and while Bullfrog and Arko have a great friendship, the current Manly squad have a few grubs in them... mainly Matai.
St George-Illawarra. lol. No way. The chokers fans always give us a hard time when we lose, so I think it'll be fitting to return the favor when they choke.
Sydney Roosters. Again there are other Sydney teams I hate more, but no, again, the rivalry is still there, and with one of our ex players captaining their squad, it doesn't make it any easier.
Warriors. I would've been happy to see them win it in 08 if they progressed that far. This will also build up the game in NZ even more. It will be great for a potential Wellington team to enter the comp.
Canberra Raiders. They would be the 4th choice for me. They haven't won it in 16 years and have a very hard time attracting players to the club due to their location. They have a good rosters at the moment and are the bogey team for the Dragons. I wouldn't mind seeing the Green Machine also help boost the game in Canberra over the bumbies! (Yes, I intentionally spelt it that way ;-))
Gold Coast. No, I do not like any QLD teams, the titties included. I also do not like the propaganda that surrounds them (squeaky clean team, beautiful location blah blah blah). Also the Scott Prince drama seems to have vanished into thin air, whereas other clubs, ours included, would've copped it big!
Penrith Panthers first, Wests Tigers second, Warriors, Raiders. The rest I don't care about!
