Every year, every dumb arse coach on the nrl tries to copy what the current premiers do because they believe that is the secret winning formula. So hopefully warriors, tigers or cows win so a few of the dumdumbs start getting their teams throwing the ball a bit more and using their backlines. Thanks to storm and dragons recently league has started to resemble union in the bq (before quade) era.

Also I wouldn't mind if knight won. Not to piss off bennet but to piss off tinkler for shelling out squillions on the club and brushing aside Rick stone.

my thought exactly. I noticed during the season that watching rubbish teams go at it was better than suffering through a dragons' game.

I like Manly and the Warriors and the Tigers. A Manly v Tigers or Manly v Warriors grand final would be spectacular.
Why do I like Manly? Des Hasler is such a character - and a bloody good coach. I always admired Jamie Lyon for standing up to that merkin, Brian Smith, and I`ve always respected Manly for the great competition they provided us in the early eighties. Also, when I was a little boy I loved the big white sea-gull they used to have on the front of their lace-up jerseys. Oh, and Bob Fulton is the best player to ever lace on a pair of boots. I guess that`s it.
