if the dragons are as bad you say they are, then what does that say about the knights???

how bout you worry about your own backyard before you bitch and moan about teams more successful than yours.

Are you serious. That's the point of this entire discussion.

One a piece this year between the Knights and Raiders mate.

I'm officially on the Raiders bandwagon, they truly deserve to be in the finals this season.

We're forgetting anything that happened before round 13 this year :p:lol:
Never exsisted.
Which means BTW we're running 2nd to the storm on the ladder

If only the Dragons could do the same for the rounds before and after Origin. They'd be killing it

Tiger nick & mJohns magic

Again we'll be there you wont. How sad is it when the rest of your joy from the footy season comes from waiting for another team to fail. The irony is utterly delicious.

No the point of this thread is who is finals bound, and who is not. Newcastle, Penrith, Tigers, NQ, Titans, Bulldogs, Bunnies are definatley not. Enjoy the off season, surely not making the 8 is a faliure of a season, even for Newcastle.

Sorry, when was the last time your side won anything?

I don't judge the season on what place we finished, I judge it on the performances throughout the year. Fortunately, that's how respected league personalities like Phil Gould and Peter Sterling have judged our season as well.

In five of our eleven losses this year we scored as many tries as the opposition but goalkicking let us down.

We won several games we weren't expected to win.

We held the Storm scoreless at Olympic Park until the 52nd minute of the game, and that match remains the smallest winning margin the Storm have had at home all season.

We've come a long way from the rabble we were without Johns just over a year ago. No one would've backed us to go near the 8 at the start of the year. Especially if you'd told them that our three Origin/Australian forwards would miss a combined 36 games.

Whether or not we actually scrape into the 8 or not doesn't really bother me at all, because I know we can't win it this year.

Ahhh... we won 2 comps in the last 11 years.

St George Illawarra have never won the comp.

Illawarra never won the comp.

When was the last time St George won the comp? About 30 years ago?

F*ck you must be having a sh*t load of successful years.

Making the 8 means SFA really unless you win. What's more importnat is what you can take out of last season and carry over into next to improve your chances of winning the comp.

I'm extremely confident Newcastle will do better next year and I'm sure a lot of other fans feel the same way about their club even though they have missed the top 8 this year.

of cause not making the 8 is a failure for the tigers. yet i would still consider making 7th or 8th then getting belted in week 1 a failure (which will be the dragons fate). if we got a week further i would be content, another week then a success.

im the one stating facts, your the one acting like a 12 year old and resorting to name calling as its quiet clear you have no further points to add.

if the dragons win a game from 7th then great, good on them. feel free to bring this up and ill congratulate them.

It's going to be the most poetic justice if the Storm play the Dragons at full strength at the Graveyard in the first round of finals. Hopefully karma really is a circle:D

Dragons are a very good footy team. They're a chance from the bottom half of the semis in my opinion.

Until Ryles dumbly retalliated and his team was left one short, they had the Storm on toast...
