Who is the Hardest Hitter in the NRL?

Dallas Johnson is not a big hitter - he just has a perfect technique. He is not an intimidating tackler, but he will simply snap you with a tackle right on the the waistline.

Biggist hitters would be the rampaging props like O'Meley, Mason and the fast big men, like LOD, Tonie Carroll, SBW.

Beaver and Creagh.

Considering Benny was a winger a few years ago, the lad has bulked up.

Carrol by far.

Creagh's pulled off some greta hits in the 1st game, beavers good for some good shots and i reckon johnosn will become the future hardest hitter within a year or two

Tonie Carroll. Regularly hits hard and with great technique.

Sonny bill williams pulls off a big shoulder charge 3-4 times a season. Not really up there

Menzies also hits hard and with great technique, but not as often as carroll.

Havent watched enough of Ben Creagh to comment.

In LW a few weeks back.
It was in the Courier-Mail too.

Don't start the pound for pound stuff, you'll have the Johns brigade in here in a flash, the topic will then turn into a Johns loveathon before ending with a Johns v Lockyer sh*t fight.
You say that like it's a bad thing. :sarcasm:

It said the LOD was the biggest hitter and Mason came second.

They stated that the impact that these two blokes hit you with is equivalent
to getting hit by a 200kg fridge.

Pound for pound, Lincoln Withers is no.1

All Withers is good for these days is either disappearing, ruining a perfectly good attacking move, missing tackles, leaving gaping holes in the defence, poor distribution and living off reputation.

Dallas Johnson, LOD, Ben Creagh and Rubin Wiki are the best 4 imo

Withers was at one point pound for pound to biggest hitter, but its been 12 odd months since we saw a shot with any vemon in it. Mostly he just misses atm

I would have thought that Steve Southern would be in the mix somewhere. Always known to pack a bit of a punch.

Tonie Carrol, hands down.

Although Ian Lacey was all over the Bulldogs last season. He's all of 165cm tall, and absolutely poleaxed Mason and O'Meley.

Nigel Plum puts players on their back everygame. Not sure how hard he hits but hes got the best technique in the NRL. Hes not in FG atm though.. :p

Soliola deserves a mention too.

(But dead set, if Willie Brown gets a run for the Roosters sometime during the season.. hes a tank. Completely poleaxed a full running Moi Moi in the trials.)

Ben Galea has the best fend, ask tony martin, he upended him with one last season.

Not even brag worthy, look at the size of Martin. He wears head gear just to make the minimum weight grade for the NRL.
