it can be lost on the wing though. All it takes is a few nervous mistakes and a winger (any of the back 3 really) can put his team under pressure thats near impossible to bounce back from.

The pussy forward pack is a bigger issue. But if the 7 game rookie fails to perform, he can most definitely ruin the teams chances all on his own. Go watch the Panthers vs Northern Pride State Finals match to see how a winger can single handedly lose a game for his team. Wes Naiqama and Keiran Moss were responsible for about 5 tries between them. Making errors that were impossible to defend. Take either one out and replace them with nearly anyone and Panthers win. Both and its not even close. But they both played shit and were punished for it by a team that foumd flaws in them and exploited them.

Sione is clearly a lot better then those guys. But he is still human and extremely inexperienced. Nerves or rookie mistakes can definitely creep in and make an unlikely win even harder. Although I would back him to catch a bomb before Mansour. Surprised NZ didn't target him.

Smith is quality - but he's always been surrounded by other very good players in club and rep games. I'd still place Steve Walters ahead of him IMO. People forget how good he was.

Yeah... Steve Walters wasn't surrounded by one of the best sides ever assembled or anything like that :lol:

Don't rate Shaun Kenny Dowell, but not sure how highly rated he is anyway.

When did DCE get injured this year? Midseason? Basically the first time he's put a foot wrong in his career has been the second half of this season. Willing to cut him some slack.

Glenn Stewart has generally been over rated. Bit in the Kidley mode IMO, very valuable at club level (well Kurt Gidley has been poor there the last few years as well I guess, but when he was the fullback pre-Boyd he was very good for the Knights), does alot of things well but have never seen him do much at rep level.

Not a bad player by any means, just not better than club level.

Cam Smith is easily the most overrated player in the history of the game.

Brilliant player but he's rated as one of the greatest of all time and I don't understand why.

Maybe you should consider watching a sport where understanding the technicalities is not so demanding

aaron "the plodder" woods would have to be one of the most overrated imo. 2 samoan tries today were scored because of his pathetic defense. how he makes the mighty kangaroos team i dont know. he shouldnt even be in state of origin. too much plod. most overrated forward since keith "the lumberer" galloway..

Unfortunately this is looking more and more true. Spose we can look forward to Laurie sticking with him and that plodder of all plodders James Plodder Tamou for NSW next season. Yay!!!

The form prop of each year has gone backwards the year after for the past few years or so. In 2012 Tamou was miles better then he is now. Fifita, Gurgess and JWH weren't as good this year as they were last year. Scott's been the only consistently good prop, hopefully Bromwich can emulate his performances this year in 2015.

Culd say the same about Matulino too, great in 2013, anonymous for much of 2014.

Bromwich has been very good the last 3 years.

This year he stepped it up though.

He's been decent for a while but I would've only put him in the top echelon of props this year.

Paul Gallen. Has come right back to the pack ever since he stopped using Danks' peptides.

If he did use peptides, and both Gallen and Danks say they didn't, peptides don't enhance performance, they are naturally occurring hormones that promote healing. So get your facts right.
