This may be one of the stupidest posts i have ever read.

Packer got an easier run than Fifita? Packer spent time (a year) in jail.

You are obviously an idiot.

The nrl certainly treated him better than Fifita. Welcomed him back with open arms when he could play again. No sanctions from memory. I think his gig in fact helped him stay in oz. awesome

Fifita robbed, trial by media. Private support of an old friend turned into a witch hunt. Million times better player than Klemmer and has done nothing wrong.
Tedesco and Wade Graham unlucky not to get in over Dugan and Thaiday

He's talking about cheree Richardson who was the 19 yo girl that was raped and murdered by mals brother
Fair enough, but you can't really disown your own brother. A bit different from someone you knew as a kid in Blacktown.

If this bloke is his friend, I think Fifita is entitled to give him support such as visits, but he's not entitled to use his position as a first grade footballer to advance some campaign to free a convicted criminal from prison, even by putting letters on his strapping.

I dont think its quite the same.

Nobody would argue that fifita cant support his mate but the nrl might frown upon a bloke doing so during an nrl game.

If andrew comes out and says (when loveridge is released) im gonna stand by my mate and look after him good on him. If andrew wants to do that now in an interview good luck to him but to slap a message of support on while wearing his playing uniform was a blunder.

The Dally M fullback of the year got 10 points. Barba and Moylan each got 17. Darius Boyd got 15. Tom Trevojevic got 13 and Cameron Munster got 11. That's 5 fullbacks who finished ahead of the Dally M fullback of the year in the Dally M points tally. Honestly, I'd have been ashamed to accept it.

Obviously the bloke who picks the Dally M fullback of the year isn't the same bloke that picks the Kangaroos.

And he played 7 less games then some of these guys. I have no issues with Teddy missing selection, your continued bashing of him ever since he dared take moylans origin spot make you sound like a jealous ex girlfriend though.

Thing is he supported him in a way that only his mates would have known about until the scumf**k media got involved

I do think he's a tad overrated, you're right. And clearly I'm not alone.

But thats life innit. No matter how cryptic a message is there is a risk of someone working it out.

If he just put the banner over his house id be supporting him. I certainly support the nrls right not to have players force messages on them.

I absolutely believe he has been a little hard done by because there are blokes ih the team who have done worse (ferguson) but i also think the nrl has the right to punish him. It probably just should be a fine because i think the blockhead probably did think he was doing the right thing

I can see why they picked moylan as I think he gives Better utility value. Plus they have Boyd and Inglis who they rate higher which I can understand.

You can say you're not alone in saying he's over rated. Doesnt mean your right. For instance I could say I'm not alone in thinking Afganstan would be a great place to holiday, would that make you book a ticket?

Mal supported his brother who bashed a woman to death and beat another with a stake

What should we do with mal ?

Oh and seriously, where was he celebrating loveridge.

Where have I supported Mal doing that in fact i hate it. Supporting low life criminals are not what this game needs.

What do you call his wrist lettering then! He's not against the low life that's for sure!

Oh he got 10 years....well I'm sure the victims family is thankful....should have got life.

What if he visits him in prison trying to sign him up on an nrl contract and talks about it in the Press ?

No it's not the same

Fifita did not use his position and standing within rugby league to help free a murderer rapist and did not seek to initiate public support like meninga has done

This is a rather dishonest way of phrasing millers. So typical of you

Meninga supported his brothers parole application. I would be fine with fifita doing the same thing as a private citizen for loveridge when the time comes.

What i hold issue with is him wearing messages of support in uniform. Essentially forcing the nrl into broadcasting that message. If the nrl wishes to punish him for it that is fair enough

If a guy at woolies walked around at work while in uniform with a sign showing support for kieran loveridge would you be up in arms if woolies sacked him ?
