Boyd was the incumbent
Inglis was picked as centre first
Moylan had a good finish to the year and can cover both halves and fullback so just edged out tedesco.
Kinda makes sense if you stop and look at it.
Thought it'd make sense to see him in the train on squad atleast. I mean even ferguson is there lol

Mal and the selectors were told that Fifita and Radradra are not to be selected.

Fifita for disciplinary reasons and Semi for his up coming court case.

Friend deserved to make this team a couple years ago, but he regressed this year.

He tried to do everything himself because he didn't trust the young halves and it didn't work.

Yeah Boyd!

I had Big Shannon Boyd as a smokey but thought his quiet game against Melbourne might have hindered his chances.

Cardiganson can consider himself lucky that BJ was injured. He has been shit for years.

Sam Thirdman had a good finals series apart from his missed tackle on JT but f**k me swinging this mediocre fat fool is going to end up with a 30 test career when he's been a plodder for most of his life.

Fifita should look at legal action. The bloke is a deadshit but he hasn't done anything wrong
While i agree with you, Fifita taking legal action against the NRL could be the worst thing for his career, especially if he wants to play rep footy again.

It would also be very hard to prove in a court as selection is purely a judgemental thing.

"We believe to wear the Australian jersey, you should have to distinguish yourself both on and off the field," NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg said.

"Our determination is to build a culture in the Kangaroos which every Australian can be proud of.

"I hope players realise that misbehaviour can in future lead to them missing out on their dream of playing for their country."

Its good to see distinguished players like fergo, friend and dugan getting a gig.

There is a lesson in all this kiddies do the right thing get pissed, drive, grope vaginas but don't have cryptic letters on your strapping whatever you do, that's very undistinguished.

So Dally M fullback of the year gets the rough end of the stick and 3 other fullbacks are picked over him...makes sense?

Unless what vic said was true..
Better and more experienced players in front of him, I was surprised with the amount of people choosing him at fullback.
Darius Boyd is the Australian fullback and there are more versatile players after that.

Yeah that was sort of silly to come out and say that, we all know why he wasn't chosen but it's better to not elaborate.

It would be about as effective as the legal action that Stuart, Daley, Mullins and co took against the ARL for non-selection in the Australian team in 1995. They won the court case but it didn't see them back in the side at all.

As to BJ Leilua's non-selection, the drums regarding his injury and unavailability for the Kangaroos was beating in the press in GF week. If I remember correctly, he confirmed it himself that he had an injury at the Dally M's.

What a crock. Feefs to play for Tonga now and probably play out of his skin. If its a permanent ban - its a travesty especially if they do the same in NSW origin. S Boyd is happy I'm sure.

I'm guessing Bird and Leilua are injured. O'Neil is okay I guess.

kind of surprised that Val got picked but winners are grinners I guess.
