Who will finish worse in 2013?

My bet for the spoon are the Tigers. Probably the worst pre-season you can imagine with no sign of things getting better. They'll crash to last by Round 10 then Benji will probably announce his last year with League.

I remember Peter Peters and a lot of other "experts" tipping the Tigers for the spoon in 2005....

Lets see how they go without that deadbeat Sheens calling the shots....It would be hard to think that they wouldn't be improved from last year with a coach that might be prepared to give some of their considerable young talent a go in 2013...

Other than the fact it's a good team playing badly, and it has hayne in it. People were picking eels for the wooden spoon at the start of the year, even mid season their odds to win the comp were 70 to 1, I know because I bet on them. I'm not sure the team is worse now. Inu was probably the biggest loss realistically but folau would patch that hole nicely, then sticky brings back some focus and motivation, add some flair from sandau and the eels look better than 09 for mine.

In 2009 we also had Eric Grothe, Jnr., Feleti Mateo and joe Galuvao. Why add Galuvao? Because he's better than any back-rower currently at the club (with Maitua and Lussick possible exceptions).

I predict eels to definitely finish in the 8, possibly the 4. Actually they could win the whole thing. Playing badly and actually being a bad team are two totally different things. The eels have been a good team playing badly for years now, they played well for a bit in 09 and that merely shed light on the fact they were good. A fact which was quite obvious before that run, they were just playing badly. The sharks on the other hand are just a bad team. Its obvious on paper and everywhere else. I don't even think they've been playing poorly they just don't have good players.

I predict the eels will turn it around next season with sticky (and possibly folau), hayne and sandow just need a bit of a kick up the arse and when they get it the team will immediately leap frog most others in the comp.

OK. If no one else is going to address the Elephant in the Thread, I will, being that I am a responsible and caring member of the LU Community......

Here goes......

Tone, mate, we need to talk about that whole sniffing glue before you post things, son. I know it must seem like a good idea at the time, but the internet is a crazy enough place as it is without nut jobs like you posting your (whilst amusing to others) warped and high-as-ten-kites dribble in here.

Do yourself a favor and get down to the Westmead rehab centre ASAP.

I mean it could go anyway you like but I would be disappointed if the Eels didnt lose a large number of games they were supposed to lose by a very, very small margin after a heroic defensive effort and showing absolutely nothing in attack. Then cue Sticky:

"I couldnt be prouder of a group of young men than I am today"

"Anyone else would have got beat by 50"

And then all of a sudden they are on a ten game losing streak.

The Sharks wont go as well as people think. They'll finish about 6th or 7th.

will not be the Sharks , they have the forwards. Will not be Eels , there will be SOME improvement , but not alot.Won't be the Cowboys, Broncos or Titans nor Warriors, Storm , Knights and Raiders. Will not be Souths.Bulldogs and Manly will be lucky to make the 8 however they should do enough to escape the spoon.
Leaves
Saints , Tigers , Panthers, Roosters.
Too hard to pick at this time , which of these will land the spoon.

Parra. Stuart is the biggest myth that has ever coached. He clearly hasnt learnt much from his dismal failure at Cronulla. The Sharks on the other hand have a very strong side, and a good coach. Its not even a contest imo.
