Who will finish worse in 2013?

Two absolutely woeful sides who will no doubt finish 2013 in 15th and 16th position.
But who of the two will claim the spoon and who will finish just above them.

I think Parra will defend their last place title narrowly by finishing 1 win behind the Sharks.

I predict eels to definitely finish in the 8, possibly the 4. Actually they could win the whole thing. Playing badly and actually being a bad team are two totally different things. The eels have been a good team playing badly for years now, they played well for a bit in 09 and that merely shed light on the fact they were good. A fact which was quite obvious before that run, they were just playing badly. The sharks on the other hand are just a bad team. Its obvious on paper and everywhere else. I don't even think they've been playing poorly they just don't have good players.

I predict the eels will turn it around next season with sticky (and possibly folau), hayne and sandow just need a bit of a kick up the arse and when they get it the team will immediately leap frog most others in the comp.

The Eels 09 side does not even closely resemble the 2012 one.

Other than the fact it's a good team playing badly, and it has hayne in it. People were picking eels for the wooden spoon at the start of the year, even mid season their odds to win the comp were 70 to 1, I know because I bet on them. I'm not sure the team is worse now. Inu was probably the biggest loss realistically but folau would patch that hole nicely, then sticky brings back some focus and motivation, add some flair from sandau and the eels look better than 09 for mine.

Yeah we are woeful... We only have Gallen, Lewis, Graham, Gibbs, Gordon, Carney, Ryan, Fifita, Ross, Pomeroy, Wright, Tupou, Bakuya, etc. The spoon is definitely coming to Cronulla in 2013. I mean Parra have Hayne... and... um?... well... Hayne but they are still so much better than Cronulla....

Seriously, Cronulla have had three terrible season (09,10,11). In those seasons we did not get a single wooden spoon. Why, with the side that we now have, would we even get close to the spoon in 2013? Just because we are one of about three financially stable Sydney clubs doesn't mean you all have to start shark bashing....

The Sharks have strengthened on this year but they still will be lacking when the big games come , they will make the 8. Carney is the Key , he has the forwards to give him great opportunities , its up to him what he does with it.

Parra have some good young outside backs but they still wont be consistent next year and they dont have the forwards to match it with the top teams. They wont make the 8.

So Parra will finish worse between the 2

Parra are likely to be one of those teams that comes from the bottom 4 the previous year to make the 8, if not next year then 2014 definitely.

Sharks have recruited well, they should make it comfortably.
