The Illawarra old boys club still running the show if this is on the mark, disgrace !!Friggin mediocrity reigns with the Illa side of our joint venture.....FFS get out of the road & let the search for a top coach continue dickheads...

"And they are pushing for incumbent Paul McGregor to keep the job on a full-time basis for next season.
McGregor gave his hopes a boost with the hard-fought win over the Titans last weekend - his second at the helm since taking over from sacked coach Steve Price."
f**k ME
he has won 2/5 in charge, those two against a reserve grade gummies team and a busted titans having now lost 6 in a row...
hardly impressive credentials that warrant any talk of a permanent gig.
get the protest signs ready boys if this clown gets the gig next season....

The longer this drags out, the more so it becomes apparent either:
(A) They are waiting to see how McGregor goes and possibly give him the fulltime gig
(B) Have signed a coach who currently has a commitment with a club and cannot disclose same
I'm starting to worry a little bit about the number of staged statements coming out of the club all supporting Mary.Sure i understand the players having to toe the line but to me it is just like the budget with leaks leading up to it so that the public & in our case the supporters already know what is coming.Mary is also not helping the cause by being very political. I hope i'm wrong but reading between the lines i'm not so sure now.:?

Does it remind you of when senior players namely Creagh came out in support of Price a season or two ago.......:?
Sure do and the players should just shut the f**k up and play footy.
It reminds me of players doing interviews with newspapers and making cliched statements. Really, what else are they supposed to do when the questions are posed? Darius responses? Stare blankly? Feign inability to speak English?
Media access is part of the gig. They can't control the inanity of the interviewers or any subsequent editorialising.
Reporter: So Josh, how are you feeling about your switch to centre? Do you think this is best for the team? Are you enjoying less ball in your hands and room to move? And what are your thoughts on McGregor as a coach?
TheDugan: ....qué?
