Simple question who'll be first to go?

Brown or Doust.

And will they march or will they be sacked?

Your thoughts please!

Well I think that they both have to go and I cant pick who'll leave first!

So your thoughts!

And can a CEO get sacked?

I suppose that the board would have that responsibility.

Of course it then becomes political. Does Dousty have the numbers on the board to be retained?

The board are responsible to the members, so if enough of them are getting shirty, indirectly, I suppose Dousty's in the hot seat.

The worse the side goes, the better the political climate for the revolutionaries.

So at the moment, I imagine Dousty should be a tad uncomfortable about his long-term future.

He's not the coach though and I am unsure of the complete ambit of his powers and responsibilities.

Of course, his future and Browns-may depend on the electoral process ( and a lot has been said about that here).

I imagine that R2K, Willow, Father Ted, Drew-sta et al would be pretty conversant with the formal procedural matters as well as the substantive informal climate.

It would be good to canvass their views- if they are willing to part with them. They may or may not diverge.

Club governance is a very serious business indeed. There is no more serious topic here.

just cant believe how bad saints are going, we have almost hit rock bottom, all the years of following saints i'd never thought we would be so close to the wooden spoon, after friday nights loss where is the next win coming from, even supporters from other clubs are calling us a bad joke saying we are a great comedy act, they say there's light at the end of the tunnel.. well its getting a bit dark now.also i cant believe that the saints board just sit there and let us fumble our way around. someone from saints need to say something concrete, saying nothing is worse than listening to someone making excuses, we need action.

Yet another BS 'Brown should go' thread.....B-O-R-I-N-G.

You're the type of person that will continue to be bent over by our current coach and administration and allow our club to sink to it's lowest levels.

Nothing but excellence is what I expect from my club and all Brown/Doust are is excellent actors, because they sure as hell have no intelligence or expertise.

Open your eyes, Dragonheart. Both these morons are ruining the club.

Where does it indicate I'm a Doust fan?

I have no interest in allowing what is happening to this club......FFS! I was on the crap seating at Kogorah in the 60s and 70s....so don't tell me I'm happy for any of this sh*t to happen.

I want answers and I want results, but unlike everyone else I'm also prepared to put blame on those who pull on the jersey.....not just jump on a bandwagon ride to a lynching....that's pathetic.

And SCREW YOU.....don't ever make judgements about the way I feel about this great club!

it may be boring to keep mentioning doust and brown, but when you keep getting beaten and all you want are some answers.. and none are forthcoming then we are entitled to voice our opinion no matter how boring it is.

Ok perhaps I was a bit too harsh.

But things need to change, and Brown/Doust are the first on the list. If we keep letting it go, and letting it go, and letting it go, it's only going to end up where we are in a scenario like Souths were 5-10 years ago.

The sad part here is that we seem to be at each others throat over this, yet we agree on the matter.

YES, there need to be changes. YES, I think Doust is a wanker.

I am sick to the teeth of seeing players leave who truly love, and take great pride in being a Dragon. I won't get started on the environment created in rugby league that forces some clubs to merge, and other clubs to drop out of the competition alltogether, but businessmen need to run the club, and leave decisions effecting the team directly to those who have a clue.

We sign players we either don't have a spot for, or simply can't afford.....whilst other players are put in a situation where they leave (by choice or not), or have to take big salary cuts to stay.

I have questioned Brown's decisions in the past, and still see a lot wrong with the way things are done. Let's face it....slotting reputedly the best centre in the world into five-eight is crap, in my opinion. We have some very good players in Premier league, who have come up from juniors, and are truly proud to call themselves a Dragon....yet don't ever see first grade.

I believe Nathan is wrong in some key areas, but I cannot think of an available, experienced, first grade coach who I want to see at the club. Going for a change, rather than an improvement is not likely to do us much good that I can see.

Let's fix what's wrong instead of throwing people out with the trash.

Cant imagine Brown walking, someones gonna have to push him and it wont be his mate Doust. I really dont know what can be done, theyre both farked and are hanging around like a bad smell. Maybe the board needs to be sacked too. Who knows

Perhaps not such a silly suggestion as some may think. Let's face it, these are the decision makers. They hire and fire, and benefit financially from thier position of power with the club. Why not scrutinise these people and decide who needs to go.

EXACTLY

It may be boring but how can you just sit here and watch us reach all new lows and not want to know how we can somehow resolve this!

I don't care who's first to go, as long as they both go. AND THEY CAN TAKE LITTLE JOHNNIE HOWARD WITH THEM. Clean out the club from the top down. There's a lot of hangers on in that booth with Brown and when you see Doust sitting in the players dug out (jumping around like we'd just won the premiership after beating the poor old also injury - ridden Titans), he's just there to occupy the free-est and best seat in the house.

p.s. What's a bloke called John Lang doing?
