no ones argued that, the lack of metro reach remains the real issue.
With a 20 team comp with Perth and Adelaide in, the NRL can rightly claim to be the games national footy code, at least until AFL ads, Darwin, Tassie and Canberra lol

Yep it would. Why? Because it has no representation in Perth and Adelaide.
Whilst AFL has 8 clubs across 4 states outside of its point of origin, and NRL has nothing west of Penrith its never going to be address that.
