And what was the balance of the "130 rugby league experts"? How many from NSW and how many from Qld? Should I even bother to ask the question ... because as we know ... NSW are born to rule.

My point was Dazzat, I am amazed this needs to be explained.

Regardless of who the 130 were, they have played, been involved, worked around the game for decades and therefore have seen many of the players go round. They would have a better understanding of a players ability than the average mug. But you continue to come up with tin foil hat reasons why he is considered better. Your inability to accept this fact does reflect poorly on you. It does wonders for the massive chip on your shoulder though.

Just having a little fun, Pete. If Andrew Johns is half the demi-god NSW supporters think he is, then my fact based observations should bounce off like bullets from the Incredible Hulk.

Problem is, the facts speak for themselves, and my beef is not with Andrew Johns, but with the assumption that a player like Allan Langer is not fit to cut Andrew Johns' toenails. Statistics don't back this up.

Allan Langer was every bit as influential as Johns in the game (I'm not suggesting he was better, only in the same league). Yet when one suggests this, one is greeted with laughter. Laughter! Not debate, not a coherent argument, not respectful conversation but laughter.

And that is the attitude that has helped win Queensland eight in a row.

Not one person has stated that Langer is not fit to cut Andrew Johns' toenails. That's your assumption, embarrassingly so but yours none the less.

It was you who tried to use selective stats to bolster your opinion. Another showed stats you decided to ignore to bolster his opinion.

I don't think Langer was as good a halfback as joey (based on pure footballing skills), Langer was brilliant but not as good as Joey in my opinion. I have no idea why this upsets you so. Their activities off the field have no impact on their skills as a footballer. Why you try to muddy Johns' abilities with his issues he faced, is just a obvious attempt to try and inflate Langers (IMO). No need to assert your inferiority complex to those who have a different opinion just because you don't like it.

Again ... those from NSW are incapable of recognising their own arrogance ... let the results on the scoreboard roll on as this denial persists.

That you as a NSW supporter actually admit that historically, the NSW rugby league ran the sport arrogantly and without respect toward Queensland and its players for many, many years, and in some respects, this carries over today. I've never heard any NSW official, coach or supporter admit this when history clearly demonstrates this.

In my next post I said that Allan Langer is an all-time great, because it's pretty f*cking obvious isn't it? He is an absolute champion of a player.

God knows where you're dragging this NSW arrogance line from, because it's pretty clear that plenty of qld fans have had a mortgage on that for nearly a decade now.
