No mate I wont go back and review a posters history.

You are hell bent on wanting people to disclose something that they are are either not willing to do, or have made assurances that they wont. I also fall in the later category, as I clearly stated when the story hit.

I fully understand people have a right to reach their own judgements and be sceptical.. I stand behind my posts on this matter.

If you went back and reviewed a posters history then you've gone out of your way to misrepresent what I have said.

I have stated club and Widdop are at fault in my opinion, I think there has been disrepect by both and all for a minor issue. The fact he wants to go to ESL which he has stated himself and was already common knowledge.

If you and some of the "insiders" want to use the argument that they know "secrets" to support what they are saying then speak up. If you are not willing to share what you know then dont use it to justify what you are saying.

My main point through all this was, if Widdop is going, use the money as strategically as possible for the future.

Widdop has every right to be aggrieved so why escalate the situation by a whole host of other leaks?
Maybe you don't understand what a leak is, well it's not the one that runs down your trouser leg.
Re your allegations against me saying I made false statements I suggest you go back and read my posts and try your hardest to comprehend what I said and then get back to me.

The media release was about Widdop asking for a release to go to ESL. If there is some other reason it was not reported and as such is not a cause for his reaction to a media release.

The trouble OT is you stomp around, shout a lot and try to ridicule people with different views to you and think this makes you right. You posted things you claimed I said and they were false, I suggest its you that needs to go back and reread posts.

Samy, the media release was that he asked for a release to go to ESL. If this is the issue its minor. Or if part of the discussion was some other issue, this wasn't reported, so no real problem to get upset about.

If there is an issue with his shoulder, this wasn't reported. And its not unreasonable to expect posters to provide what they know. The "I know something you dont know" type posts have been called out in the past on this forum, and so they should.

Over the past 20 years, the Club has often twisted the truth or told outright lies. The conduct of club management has been less than candid. So unless the full story is released i.e. who leaked and why, I remain unconvinced that the full truth has been told.

If Widdop says he didn’t ask for a release and he never talked to the press prior to them printing that he did ask for a release, then work it out for yourself surely you are smart enough to do that.

Samy, I like rading your posts even when I do not agree with them. You seem to be a keen supporter of the Dragons and bring to the forum some great news and information from time to time.a

My dislike for Millward, Graig Young and Mary is more about their efforts and the way they got their jobs. It seems to me that these individuals along with others in management/coaching staff are putting their self interests ahead of the best interest of SGI.

I will call out wrong doing or incompetence when ever I feel it to be present at the club. I'm sure my opinions centre on only a fraction of the wrong doings going on at SGI.

More to the point, there have been many opportunities to sign players who would make a positive contribution to our playing squad only to see Millward let them pass bye and other clubs pick them up. In 2018 we played at least one first grade prop short and tried to cover by overloading our backrow with exra work around the middle. Millward should have replaced Thompson with like for like or at least with a first grade prop to enhance mitigation of fatigue. But no, he saved those dollars and used them to front end the likes of Pereira and Latimore at seasons end. All the good work people say Millward has done was all undone with this descision alone.

SGI must become focussed on starting every season with the aim of winning the competition. It goes without saying we need a clever person who can provide SGI with the best possible playing squad to meet that goal. In my opinion, Millward his not the man and if he had to compete on the market for the job gifted to him, in my opinion he would never have gotten the job.

Wake up, I have never said Widdop asked for a release, I have said over and over if him being upset is about a meeting that was about him moving to ESL and it somehow got leaked, so what. This has been common knowledge for years.

If you want to talk about my posts then talk about the main point, IF this was the case I would like to see the money spent on buying the best promising players and using 2019 as a right off year.

And you're right you technically dont have to validate anything on here but, if you cant divulge anything then its difficult to have a discussion about it. Its a bit of "trust I'm a doctor" isn't it.

You keep bringing the ESL equation into it and about it being common knowledge that he wanted to go to ESL at some point in time as if this was the focus point of his conversation with the club.
He had a meeting with the club which was private & confidential
The club leaked he had a meeting and then they created the "smoke and mirrors" about it being a release to ESL which Widdop has denied and then he had to defend the erroneous allegations to try and restore his own credibility which you unfortunately don't believe.
We are lucky Widdop didn't say "you big mouth arseholes created this mess and then compounded it by telling a whole lot of bullshit, so you can't be trusted I'm out of here".

As I said OT, in my opinion its a storm in a teacup and this sort of thing happens everyday of the week in the NRL.
