Are.you referring to use of the term homie? You do realise that you stayed using that term on the basis of someone else using it, right?

And really, drop the indifference thing, you clearly do have some sort of interest here since you've specifically stated you you targeted me in this whole thing!

And finally. ..'I would be annoyed if...' is just a bullshit start to a sentence, considering 3 of your last 4 posts have included the term 'FFS' and you have actually referred to me as annoying!

I hope the Dragons sign that homie for anything less than 500k. Homies seem to be forgetting what team he is playing in. If Benji could do for Hopoate what he did for Aitken last weekend (get him in one on one with the opposition defender) on a regular basis, I believe he would be not only be back to his best, but get better still and cause havoc among our enemies. He is still only 22 or 23, isn't he? He has many years ahead of him.

Having said that, I don't believe it will happen. The Bullgrubs, Roosters or Broncos will somehow miraculously find room under the salary cap by releasing some late 20s journeyman like Sam Perrett.

Homies aside, Hoppa would be a decent signing if cheap. Definitely a better prob than most of our outside backs...

Agreed, but not sure how he comes cheap.

I'm no legal expert but I'm sure Parramatta has an obligation to somehow fulfil the original contract he signed with them, so the onus is on them to somehow fit him under their cap.

At the end of the day, I don't see him signing a contract with another club for say around $300k, when he feels he's entitled to the $850k (or whatever it was) that he agreed to and signed for with Parramatta.

Messy situation to say the least.
