I hope not. But chuck his name into the MRC lottery spinner and we will know the result

Lyon got off for something similar, so I hope Luke does too

Lyon got off nothing. He was charged, along with Watmough. Lyon had a clean record and that's why he was able to play last week. Watmough missed the game from the same charge because of his record.

That tackle last night was almost the same as the Lyon/Watmough one, and if the judiciary have any spine he gets charged and, if he has carry overs, he misses next week. The fact it is a GF is irrelevant.

I could just imagine the uproar if instead it was JWH who did that tackle.

Well, the channel nine judiciary that sat after the game last night said no case to answer. Thats good enough for me.

SBW thoughts:

s

"There was nothing in the tackle and it would be a great travesty if any player was to miss the grand final over a nothing tackle like that," Williams said. "That is just footy, I am sweet and my shoulder is all good.
"I don't even think that Issac should have to sweat about it over the weekend because there was nothing in the tackle that he should be worried about so I hope the match review committee see it that way and let him play.

"It would be wrong if he had to miss a grand final because of something like that and I will do anything I can to help him if I can. I spoke to Issac at the end of the game to wish him good luck for next week and I told him he shouldn't have anything to worry about because there was nothing in the tackle.

Deserves suspension based on others that have been suspended this year.

Sit the GF out you little grub.

Nothing in it?

lol What the f**k drugs are some of you guys on.

If SBW doesn't raise his arm, first thing to hit the ground is his head.

This is the same judiciary who says injury is a factor, which speaks for how geniused they are. But this is the ultimate test, & their credibility depends on this. So I'm gonna go with 2 weeks. If he is suspended, it will be more than, so it doesn't seem they are specifically rubbing him out of the GF.

Nothing in it.

This. SBW nearly breaks his shoulder to prevent breaking his neck.

Based on precedence that's clearly a grade 1 lifting tackle.

It's the proactive decision to put his hands between the legs and lift that makes it so. Similar to Reynolds' on Ennis.

But it's grand final week so he won't be charged. Which is kind of a mockery of the NRLs crack down on lifting tackles.

Just let him off...obviously nothing happened to McKinnon earlier in the year.

Should go for 1-2 as he is no angel at the judiciary.

His hand wasn't between the legs though

Near enough as makes no difference. It still had the same effect in that he was able to elevate SBW well past the horizontal and he stayed that way until he hit the ground

I knew someone would bring that up. Technicality.

So in summary:

100% of Souths fans think no suspension and 90% of opposition fans think, based on precedent, it's worth a grade 1.
