Agreed. It really just makes you want to pick up a chair and hit something hard. It truly does make a person reconsider why they follow a club. All the shit about stick by your club through thick and thin is borderline sociopathic if the misdemeanours stack up.

Woah, I think it's time to settle down in here if this was sparked by my comment. I've been avoiding speculating for this very reason, but I thought what I said was pretty innocent.

I just meant to say that I am not so sure we are in the clear. Plenty of others on here from all clubs seem to be in a bit of denial. Their vice-captain is religious so their players are all straightshooters...their prop is a no-nonsense throwback from the old days and he wouldn't tolerate that crap in his squad...etc etc.

I don't think the fact we have sucked as a team for a fair while is a valid reason that a player of ours could not be involved in this...just like any other club.

I am not referring to the Dragons losing to Brisbane in the early 90s based on anything. Brisbane were way too good anyway. I didn't follow St.George back then. When my club merged with St.George I then took some interest.

As far as taking HGH and peptides go - not sure who would be doing that at the club.

As for talking on the phone about certain things they shouldn't - well, after the Wicks/Houston fiasco, any player at the club who is still conversing on a telephone about things they should not be talking about really must be void of brain matter.

HGH and peptide use wouldn't shock me but leaving evidence behind via telephone taps would absolutely floor me. Surely a lesson was learnt two years ago. Surely.

It's about balanced argument mate. Nothing more. I guess you could say we are all a bit on edge right now across the code. Certain groups of NRL supporters are notorious bullies in some camps when it comes to taking the moral high ground. One player does the wrong thing and apparently the whole club should be forever tarnished. What a joke. Literally 'the sins of the father' approach. Ask Germans about it. I have a German friend and she has told me she has been labelled a Nazi more than once simply because of her nationality. It is disgusting.

I think our only hope is they have re-investigated the wicks saga but come up with nothing else that has already been dealt with.
