Bulldogs been gifted the game vs the Tigers helps us, as does Melb beating Broncos by a point.

Beat manly and we should finish the weekend in 8th. Beat Manly by 36 and we'll finish the weekend in 7th and possibly only one point off 6th with a victory against Cowboys the following week likely to push us up to 6th.

The results we have been needing have been falling our way for the most part - it's up to us if we take this opportunity. Absolute must win game on Sunday.

The biggest thing now is that the power is all our hands as far as making the 8 goes.

We keep winning, keep the F/A improving and we make the 8.

I can't get over what a tough run it is though.. Manly, Cowboys, Rabbitohs.

The selfish Robbie Farah has reared his ugly head and I can't thank him enough. We live another week.

Selfish with the field goal yes. The Shepherd was a disgraceful decision against them cos it was so blatant. . Bulldogs decoy runs will lead to opposing teams taking falls when contact is made by the runner on a defender. Refs have no idea how to police a decoy run. Simple choice is to get rid of it as it is too easy to get wrong.

Not saying they are illegal runs but the grey area is enourmous. Of course if the ball player runs behind a decoy rather than passing the ball behind the decoy it is by rights a shepherd whether contact is made with a defender or not. That is what the commentators always blow up about. How the rule has no real definition.

Come on Roosters!

If they win, it really does put us in prime position to take control of our destiny.

Oh well, chance to knock the Raiders out of the 8 on sunday. No more bigger incentive for a big performance than that.

They're not in the 8?

Chance for us to take 8th (possibly 7th) spot, no more bigger incentive than that.

shutup. chance to go ahead of them, whatever. making the 8 is nice, making the 8 at the expense of canberra would be delicious.

Sharks winning tonight almost secures them a spot while also showing that maybe the Rabbitohs have hit a bit of a brick wall, hopefully it stays that way for our round 26 clash!

It also suggests that Manly's "return to form' was potentially less significant than many thought. Even with GI the bunnies were crap enough to get beaten by one of the comps struggling teams.

Terrible results for us tonight tbh. Almost to the point where 2/3 won't cut it now.
