I think it's unlikely it will be added to our cap but if a club releases a player mid contract and are paying some freight for another club to take him off their hands, then that amount comes off their cap whilst the player is under contract for another club.Well all I can say if WTF ?
How can we be paying a player and under our salary cap mind you, while he is playing at and under contract to another club ?
Have the NRL officially lost it ? or have they just never had it ?

Agree however those payments are supliments to NRL registered contracts. What do you mean? We have been paying players at other clubs for years. And heaps of clubs also pay players when they are under contract at other clubs. I don't know why this is surprising to you?

Yes that was always the case. The complexity here is if it is part of our cap.And isn't that what Hoppa wanted? Parra to supplement his Bulldogs contract

Not if he takes up the $500kpa payer option he has with us for 2018, 2019 and 2020. He has until October next year to make his decision. The good news is that in the next year or two we'll finally get Morts off the books.
Awesome, well done Sharpie and crew.
