WTF did him being signed in 2013 have to do with what happened last season with your mate Sharp and co?? Sure his initial signing was a disaster so instead of massively reducing his contract or letting him to go they offer nearly the same amount of money Then after they f**ked up the Foran signing(his TPA's were being counted on the cap) they realise they can't afford a plodder like Hoppa they renege on his deal and decide not to register at all. They were good on reneging on deals they did the same thing to BA as well, Talk about comedy capers. Thank god we have finally got professional's in charge like Max and Bernie.

Well, several people on here told me that there's no way that would happen, so it can't be true.

Well nobody has said it except channel 7 Baz... Their sports reporting is notoriously inept - surprised they could pronounce his surname!!

Highly unlikely it will go on the cap, he had no contract with us, and no court has found he had a contract with us, and nothing was registered with the NRL. The only way they could peg us with an amount is out of pure spite - and frankly, it would be cheating on their part safe in the knowledge that we can't take them to court.

It would be of the same magnitude as the NRL saying 'oh the Broncos get $300k extra on their 2017 cap because Roberts had an incident, so we've revalued him'. Pure crap, they just can't do it (except they sort of can because nobody has any recourse to appeal for the right outcome)
