Unbelievable if it is true - the obvious risk is how he will be when he returns, 2 years is a long time out of the game.

. I actually don't give a shit at all. It is just sad trying to see you guys rub it in when I just don't give a f**k. He was leaving the club anyway, I actually would be disappointed if I heard we signed him for $500,000 for 2014, because he can't promise to come back as the same player.

We won the f**king premiership and you guys battled for the spoon the whole year. It is just pathetic seeing you trying to bag a Manly fan.

You've just won a premiership, yet you're here discussing this. can manly supporters get any dumber??

Alot of money for a winger.

Maybe the plan is for him to play fullback.

Good signing. Eat shit Manly.

He carved up at center at origin level. And he's still in his first season!

The guy is a top level talent anywhere from 1-5. I don't think 2 years out of the game will hamper his natural talent at all.

Willie Tonga is here for 2 years, we've already signed his replacement.
Loving the fact that Hayne will be 24, Sandow 24, Hoppa and Loko 21. Potentially lethal backline right there - with years left in it.

top player - but hard to get excited about a player who won't be here for 2 yrs .... hope he's careful riding his bike on that mission - alot can happen in 2 years

A bit of risk but if it pays off we are going to have three very talented players in our spine. I guess the days of forwards being highly paid at parra are over.

is he really that good, he finishes off well.........

Not too keen on the possibility of John Hoppa getting a role on our coaching staff... hopefully that's just paper talk. this worries me more..

Let's hope he doesn't suffer 2nd year syndrome in 2014! ;-)

Very exciting news for Parra fans, if only it was for 2012... It will be very interesting to see what training regime he undertakes whilst away.

Good news that he's going to QLD. There are a lot of (ar)souls that need saving up there.

This worries me, does any player return good after these kind of exercises?

I suppose it's only in Queensland, maybe we can use Inglis geography and tell him Parramatta is in Queensland.

Big risk but the pay off could be massive, and in 2 yrs time the cap could be worth at least 7 million. He has been brilliant this year so he's definitely worth the gamble.

Poor Manly, only 2 days after winning a GF and all people are talking about is the Stewart Brothers saga and their star player leaving. Celebrations didn't last long.
