It was good mate. Jip Jip Rocks shiraz, my mate won it somewhere. Not a pricey wine but I enjoyed it. Smooth as silk and loads of flavour. I also enjoyed the Te Mata Awatea we hooked into after. And the Sam Miranda botrytis riesling after that. I did not enjoy work today!

Had a Tempus Two Pewter Seal Botrytis Semillon last night. Very tasty, and without that real sugary sweetness some Botrytis can have.

This is a classic pinot actually...dark cherry, spices, stalky chewy tannin...big fan, can see why it was the NZ Wine Show top medal winner

Haha...I lived there, can't say I found much quality wine On the other hand, $2 litre bottles of Tiger saw me through many, many hot nights

Heading to the Negociants import tasting in about 10 minutes....4 hours, over 100 wines...it's a tough job sometimes Will report back on anything worthwhile!
