WISHLIST 2008 - Let em rip.

With the whistle about to blow on another season it might be a good time to let rip with our 2008 wishlist.

Of course we all know what is priority #1. ... a lap of honour on GF day.

But what does everyone wish for for this season.

I will start the ball rolling...

RL WHISHLIST 2008

I wish for....

A new and permanent #7 and 5/8 combination that fires and excites.

That the Filthy Stains finally get to collect their rightful possession - the wooden spoon
(now that will nearly be as good as us winning)

Paris hits the ballsey wallsey up so hard that he actually hurts a defender

Noddy decides on his own accord transfers to a UK side. Thanks for your loyal service, and your enthusiam Nods... take the watch.... good luck in the future.

That our forwards throw the word control out of their vocabs and bash the other sides.

That we discover two or three brilliant young local players (and retain them) and they go on to represent from our club at international level

That I get back on the wagon in late September early October and drink myself to death celebrating our first ever club victory

Having followed the Sharks since their inception, my wish is a Premiership. I don't care how we get there or what personnel we have, I just want the monkey off the club's back and we win the thing.

Of course, a Grand Final win over Manly would be icing on the cake.

1. We easily make the semi finals ie top 4
2. Karl Mc Filigia wins rookie of the year
3. We belt the Dragons, Bulldogs and Rabbits*
4. Kimmorley plays differently/better or doesn't play FG
5. Bird plays as well as he did last year

*only because the bunnies have become a bogey side -

Yeah but we won fair and square and Fulton had a big whinge.. so lets hope Greg Hartley is tied to Fultons back when it hits.

We sign several good players for 2009

The chaff gets cut at the end of this year

We unearth juniors of the quality of Pierce, Rogers, Peachey etc.

We sign Craig Bellamy as coach in 2009. Inglis and Folua follw the coach to the Sharks

bird continues on his improving way and dominates games

we have a potent and big backline that can score many tries..

we have good merchandise that i want to wear..

spidermiller/ frenzhausreefy argue the others side for a day.

we win.

My wishlist - a Cronulla premiership. That'll do me.

As for Hartley, a cement truck is too good. A very slow moving steamroller would be more just.
