One observation that was very noticeable, Australia's lack of depth in the front row was nearly telling in the result.
Luckily they can defend very well.
Playing SOO definitely helped the Kangaroos mentally in that second half. Every player has been in that pressure many more times than the Kiwi players.

It seemed like we were devoid of structure and set plays, we kept getting stuck behind the decoy runners which was frustrating. This is part of the reason that he got over involved at times imo.
He also seems like he's playing in his slippers, the amount of times he slides out in attack. Glad he was there though in saying all that.

Cleary was pretty anonymous. Joey Manu is a super ball hog, but jeez I’d make him the best paid player in the game by about $400k to get him - he is something else. If Tedesco is on over a million, Manu is worth 1.5m. He’d fit right in alongside some of our other pretty boys too.
