Worst player in the NRL?

Picking players across positions is difficult, so I'm doing team format and only picking players with a reasonable amount of experience, or in their cases way too much experience for how poor the play.

1. Tim Moltzen
2. Adrian Purtell
3. Jonathon Wright
4. Esi Tonga
5. David Simmons
6. John Sutton
7. Luke Walsh
8. Luke Burgess
9. Matt Keating
10. Adam Cuthbertson
11. Cameron Ciraldo
12. Jamal Idris
13. Chris Heighington

Wouldn't say all of these players are bad, but I would rate them as among the worst in their positions. Or atleast that I could think of. Would like to throw Danny Galea in their as a benchie... they don't get much worse then what he added to the Panthers in 2012. But when you select someone like him and use them in the front row, the blame has to partly lie with the coach too.

Geeeezzzzzz, Purtell is on the other side of the world with a serious heart condition and is still getting hated on.... Let it go.

For a NSW origin player Scott doesn't bring much to the table. Neither does Anthony Quinn for that matter.

I do have to agree with Tim Moltzen. He is very average.

i'd throw manese manukafoa in the front row of the worst side if he was still in the NRL. 115kg unit made out of marshmellow. Could watch a game then have to check the stats after it to find out if he actually played he made such little of an impact

Tim Moltzen isn't the worst player in the NRL. There's around 4 games a year he does pretty well in. That excludes him from worst player in the NRL.

The Rime of the Poor Ol' Cowboys Fan.

I love you
You love me
Let's gang up and abuse Bani

With a dropped ball here
And a missed tackle there
Bani is more than I can bear.

Bani - easy selection as the worst but he doesn't play NRL anymore so my vote, hands down goes to Ciraldo - he is utter tripe!

Danny galea was actually fantastic for the tigers in 08/09. We had a bullshit record of winning games when he started, was like 80% or something, he really stiffened our defence up. I was pretty disappointed when he left, but yeah he has been pretty average for Canberra then penrith.

Would consider Reddy ahead of Corrigan to be honest, Corrigan was barely sighted after the early rounds.

Otherwise pretty spot on.

Also agree with nominations for Anthony Quinn, a grub and a shit player
