Boyd was the only established 1st grader we signed, the other 2 you mentioned were struggling to get a game.

The old choke line again, how original.

Did you even go through that list of players? Pretty much every single one of them apart from Melbournes inaugural side had either no first grade games or only a handful before being signed by Melbourne.

Once again my point stands, only rarely do Melbourne sign established players. Melbourne have taken a bunch of rejects that weren't wanted by any other club and have created a dynasty.

Have fun watching your team of local juniors like Darius Boyd, Michael Weyman and Neville Costigan inevitably choke in the finals next year.

Your point is idiotic. You're bagging the Titans for signing established players in what is essentially their inaugural side, while excusing Melbourne for having done the exact same thing in their start up years.

Got hypocrisy?

The opinion poll tells the story. Let the next chapter begin, wonder want is next in the Bird Saga. His going to make a fortune from the rag trade?

4 years into the comp = inaugural side?

By 4 years Melbourne had pretty much stopped buying established players and had started to bring up players nobody wanted in the lower grades and turning them into solid first graders.

Whereas the Gold Coast are still buying up players left and right like the plastic and soulless club they are.

If you dare question or criticise The Drizzle, just expect their fans to carry on ad nauseum & until hell freezes over with inane arguments that smack of denial.

lol @ argueing about buying players.

Welcome to the modern game.

I'm not saying Melbourne don't buy players, like any club in the NRL of course they do. It's just done in a much classier way by buying players that no other clubs want or see any potential in.

And by doing this Melbourne have created the greatest rugby league dynasty of the modern era.

All juniors that have played first grade, or about to in just the 4th year.

I can understand why Storm are crying, there pillaging of this area and queensland juniors is about to cease.

Name these players they're buying left and right? FFS since their original start up side, the biggest names they've signed have been Zillman, Harrison and now Bird. Hardly huge signings.

You either have no idea what you're talking about, or you're a rampant hypocrite.
