I think the Reign title win has to be put on the back burner now. I don't think they will, but it should be as that would make the whole thing entirely predictable and completely anti-climactic (much like Cena returning and winning it would be)

I'd like to see a 12 man tournament at SS, 4 men with a first round bye.

Including a Divas match to break up the semi and final that would be 12 matches all up, but once you include the inevitable double dq/countout to eliminate one match, and a couple of creative ways to have a couple of very quick matches then you're essentially back to 7-8 proper matches you'd expect from a PPV anyway.

This is a big opportunity to shake things up, but I expect them to just throw the belt on Reigns and proceed with business as normal.

The only saving grace for a Reigns victory would be with the help of the Authority, ala The Rock when we joined The Corporation

Rock was super over when they did the heel turn, whereas Reigns is not

Probably more like when The Rock joined The Nation of Domination. Went from being a babyface being booed out of the building to one of the hottest commodities in wrestling.

The quient-essential Attitude Era show.

Sure, there were better shows but nothing represented the sheer mayhem of the product better. Everything that era was about, warts and all, was encapsulated in that show.

It was no WCW Mayhem, but shit, what can be?

It was a good PPV no doubt.
However, for me, a Survivor Series HAS to have at least one traditional Survivor Series match up. I quite liked the early 90s Survivor Series
