I can see Bryan winning the first match v HHH, and then HHH/cronies costing him a win in the title match to keep him on the chase until the next PPV.

Kind of elevates Bryan with a (clean?) win over HHH but there's no way they'd simply allow the second win for the dream ending, because where do they go from there? There's no money for the WWE in giving it away so soon.

Yep that’s exactly my point, seeing 70,000 do the yes chant would be phenomenal, kind of like Benoit/Guererro WM20 but then what?

Keep the title on him for 10 years because otherwise the IWC will boo? I wouldn’t blame the company for holding off on the title change but it would be hard to know when the right time is.

WM30 is the right time. DB has been screwed over many times since SS and everyone wants him to win... so this is it. The writing is on the wall.

The right time as win when the most money is there to be made for the company not when the IWC wants their boy to be champ. Could they get more out of screwing Bryan again, I think they probably could...

The Daniel Bryan situation is becoming a bit like that Peanuts routine where Lucy (Vince) would keep yanking the football (the title) away from Charlie Brown (Bryan). There's only so many times you can keep doing that bit until it becomes irritable and I don't see the sense in denying fans a feel good moment for the forth time. It's definitely time to reward them.

I mean, just look back at when Austin won the belt. With HBK gone, it wasn't like there were any ready made programs waiting for Austin. They had to manufacture one and it worked because the fans dug Austin.

I think it's pretty simple, Bryan wins, defeats Batista on the next PPV before moving onto Bray Wyatt down the road.

Easy.

Bryan vs Batista, Bryan vs Bray, Bryan vs a returned Heel punk, or even Jericho. Thats a around a 4-5 month program for him.

If Bryan makes the title fight, what chance he turns heel via an assist from triple h in the title match, screwing orton out of the title, thus turning him face?

^^^ I don’t think that would work, if anything it would turn HHH face. At this stage you could have the most screwy finish in favour of Bryan of all time and the crowd would still cheer him.

I don't think it would if done right, ala Rock v Stone Cold at WM.

It'd be a deal with the devil so to speak. Sets up triple h for another match, which he wants, when he & bryan eventually fall out.

If you were to ask Austin now if he'd come up with the same finish for Mania X-7 again, he'd say no way. Despite appreciating the moment, the fans didn't care to see the aftermath and turned off from Pro Wrestling in DROVES.

In Bryan's case, he hasn't even had his big babyface run yet for the turn to mean anything.

Just play it straight, no need for any of this M Night Shyamalan booking.

Ahh fair enough.

As I was saying, those chances would be slim. The WWE very rarely books crash tv style angles and the angle has already received a couple of twists in the tale for the WWE to throw another one into the mixture.

If this was WCW, I'd have my doubts, but WWE are fairly consistent when it comes to their big shows.

They have a great card here & the makings of an awesome show. I hope they don't butcher it, but i fear triple h's ego will see him involve himself in the title fight

I don't think the WWE would screw Bryan over now - that's why they had to immediately turn him from heel to face when he was with the Wyatts because they realised how much they screwed that one up. Also, by putting Batista in the RR and having him win it showed that they stuffed up the WM main event too, which is why they had to fix it and have it turn into a triple-threat match.

Now I'm not saying that WWE is going to do the right thing by their fans, and what's best for business (excuse the pun), but if WWE stuff this WM up, expect fans to walk away from the WWE universe and not return... I might just be one of them.
