Been thinking hard on whether or not to get one, but the 720p shenanigans is a deal breaker for me. I am primarily a PC gamer, and that jump down is just a no go. Plus there is no killer app yet. Fable made me buy the xbox, Oblivion made me buy the 360, but there is nothing so far for the X1. Nothing the PC won't have anyway, like Titanfall.

Give me a killer exclusive and i'll consider it, but for now the launch is weak to my tastes.

Hopefully being in Sydney we'll be able to download the Day 1 patch without too much hassle. Although my hopes are not too high.

Wow, that is cheap on launch.

I'll probably cancel my Ryse pre-order and drive up to Big W on Friday. Might even pick up a copy of Forza 5 or NFS Rivals for that price, too.

Big W had them at $78 each then JB matched that and did it also so they've come back and dropped it to $68. I'll be interested to see if JB matches it.

I'm getting Ryse, Fifa, NBA and maybe Forza. I'm considering cancelling some pre orders and using http://www.ezydvd.com.au/games/Xbox-One-76133/0/pre-releases which has them at $58 and will give me some time to play games like Fifa that come with the console.

My Day One Xbox is beautiful. Currently tearing up.

My first impressions are.. negative. Haven't actually got to play a game yet, which isn't helping.

But getting around the OS is kinda meh (might need learning). Kinect is meh (this i expected).

Biggest issue though, is the controller losing connection, constantly. Whenever I'm not right in front of the console (other side of room doesn't work).

Im happy with mine so far, i go it home late last night, turned it on to do the update while i slept, put the bins out for bin night and was surprised to see the update was 88% done when i got back inside.

only game i have is the fifa 14 that came with it, so started downloading that. Got to start playing at around 20% downloaded.

in the end fifa be fifa, seemed no real different to 360 version, but my controller had no issues and have been impressed with kinect so far.
