And all of a sudden, we need strikers again. This sturridge nonsense is beyond bearable. There is probably nothing more that needs to be said about his new injury, because it's just f**king de ja vu #100

i ain't mad coz i've learnt to accept we have so much work to do, and i expect that we do it. bringing in a quality central midfielder and finding a temp replacement for ings/sturridge are minimums.

I don't think we have that much work to do.

Striker, Cm, Goalkeeper, in that order.

If we're lucky we can get two of the three in Jan.

But yes, Sturridge is a bit shame but no one can say they didn't expect it, so I guess it cushions the blow slightly lol.

you would think that, but some here clearly live in a bubble of bliss also known as buying into fenway bullshit, eg.....hyping up kids like can as established first teamers so that true established wc players don't get purchased

I disagree, i think we as fans overreact to losses and bad results. Every team gets them. If our team sucked so much ass that we needed an overhaul we dont beat chelsea at the bridge, city st emirates, Southampton away... etc

The issue I have with our squad is consistency, you have players like coutinho and can who are capable of world class performances but are not there yet due to their age or experience,....but we have no genuine competition for them to better themselves. Instead there should be an established accomplished player ahead of them allowing them to grow as they should be, young emerging superstars.

The other issue with consistency is over exerting players like our fullbacks simply because there isn't enough depth

Our first team is solid but depth. Fullback, DM, CM, Right and left wing, Striker. We have no options

Same mate, no joy. Just getting tweets to suffice.

Good to see brad smith start ! Hopefully a viable backup to Moreno and could solve the Australian left back problem

managed to find something passable :) both teams playing for a draw not helping though with making the effort

yep smith is making the most of his chance, should get more starts in future, nothing wrong with what he's offering as an option to our permanent fbs atm.

By getting an amazing 0-0 draw, we top our group (no idea how)

Though Dortmund lost at home which makes them finish second in group C. Does anyone know what that means for the next draw of 32?? If anything at all?

we were undefeated!

i'd be happy with drawing dortmund, get a good matchup bugger winning it if we lose. champs league losers added to draw on monday

brad smith played well, continues to provide decent service

Wow. I am convinced after the last 3 games that Rodgers has killed Klopp and is wearing his skin.

Awful team. Awful in game management. Awful substitutions.

Geez we have missed some chances in the last week or two to really climb up the ladder.

i didn't see the game so can't really comment on the performance, just disappointing to wake up to that result

When did you last see Rodgers fire up anfield like that at the end? When did you last see Rodgers line up a team bow in front of the kop after a draw with a side like west brom?

He's fixing Rodgers shit

Yeh cool. Lets line the team up after a draw at home to West Brom that lifted us to 9th. Right on.

I last saw Rodgers play Benteke by himself and watch him fail.

I last saw Rodgers play Coutinho and Lallana together, who dont work at all, and fail.

I last saw Rodgers play Milner as a central midfielder and fail.

All the things Klopp is continuing to do. He isn't fixing Rodgers mess, he is adding to it.

He fired up Anfield when we got a lucky break in 8 minutes of Injury time. That's what it took to take a point of West Brom.

We took 3 points off Chelsea, who are shit, and 3 points off City who were decimated with injuries.

We have taken 1 point from Palace, Newcastle and West Brom.

Our squad, on paper, is actually pretty good. It's the coaching methods that are failing.

We got City at the right time. No Kompany, no Otamendi, Aguero 50%, no Silva.

Their backline was Demichelis, Sagna and Mangala. Plus there were rumours Hart busted his hand in the lead up to the game.

Palace don't have a strong team. WBA don't have a strong team. Newcastle were in relegation. Klopp bottled those games.
