Pretty blah kind of game against Swansea if I am honest.

We had enough possession to put them away but you can tell the lack of squad depth is taking it's toll. I can't remember a league game without Can and Clyne not starting.
Lallana has also been a pretty prominent figure and he looked very flat, not surprising after he is the spearhead of our pressing now.

I really, honestly hope we play a young team against Southampton and get eliminated from the comp. Need that rest.

But, 3 points is 3 points, and you are happy no matter how you get it.

I have now given up caring where we finish for this season. This season to me is not about coming 1st, or 4th, or 7th, it's about Klopp putting a stamp and an identity on the team.
It's about him re-figuring this team to how he wants it, and then going and getting the players he feels he needs to take us forward and be successful.

I would hope we miss Europa but it seems the team are going to get it, so Europe is Europe and it gives you more pull in the market, but I feel we don't need the disruption for a few more seasons, unless that disruption is the CL.

I would much rather rest on Thursdays than go to the cow paddocks and play.

But I'm starting to feel confident of CL qualification too. At who's expense though, I'm not sure...

really? it's not difficult,....does anyone seriously expect leicester to be there come end of the season? they're the hull/bolton of years gone by.

chelski's utter malfunctioning means it's either us or spurs.....it's that simple.

I could also see United slip out, their luck has to run out sooner or later.

Tbh I wasn't even factoring in Leicester and I wasn't necessarily basing it off the top 4 at this very moment.

United could slip out too.

Having a lot of money to spend in January guarantees nothing. Also, by that stage, Chelsea could have fallen even further behind.

Fixing up the D and the DM will be Klopp's aim in January.

Anyone see his comments on Migs this morning? Thought there would have been a 10 page debate by now.

daniel sturridge has reminded us what we've been missing.... he is world class!

assist of the season candidate from emre can, first decent assist i've seen from him his entire liverpool career...even joe allen is having a peach of game. what a crack from moreno pulled his finger out after copping a massive serving of klopp

Nice cross by smith at the end for the 6th.

How nice is it having sturridge back... The guy is all class !!

All done tonight without couts and no need for Henderson to even get off the bench! Perfect.

We must take apart Newcastle on Monday morning now, they are in all sorts. Dare say if we did, would be bye bye Steve.
