mhikityran salah diego Costa, not too mention delli ali etc as discussed recently.....

You're sticking up for Ian ayre's transfer history and you're calling me the idiot?

Yes, you are the village idiot of this lfc forum.. It's not Ayre's fault that Costa wasn't interested, it's not Ayre's fault that Mkhi preferred UCL football under Klopp, it's not Ayre's fault that Rodgers opened his big gob and criticised Salah while they were negotiating a deal. Dele Alli stands out as the only f**k up out of all of those deals. What's the point in you getting upset over Alli anyway? He just would have been a cheap potential signing because FSG stoopid!

And now you're whinging that Teixeira is just a potential talent. Yep, 26 years old, most prolific player in Ukrainian league, been impressive for a number of years. From Shakhtar. Indeed, totally unlike Douglas Costa!

Village idiot confirmed.

He is 26 now, he is not potential anymore. He is the finished product. He has 22 goals in 15 games this years.

I am not saying that 30 million is reasonable, it is probably way too steep, but we paid 25 million for Lallana and this guy is better than him.

You pay what the market dictates and if Klopp wants this guy as a key recruit, then we have to stump the cash up.
I can't see the suits who run this club wanting to fail him on his first major signing.

Looking at it from the bigger picture, I can see us running the false 9 system, and I could see this guy being our "striker" until Sturridge is fit. (More on that later in this post)

Ideally, you can see how Klopp is trying to build this team, high energy guys, and lots of them, so he can press.
This is why I genuinely believe there is a big interest in Gotze. And this is also why I think that Klopp will look to get Teixeria first, get his big recruit in, and then get Gotze in the summer.

Run the front line of the 3 Brazillians and Mario, with guys like Sturridge, Ibe, Ojo, gulp - Lallana and co as depth.

Klopp also came out, with direct quotes, and confirmed he is waiting on Sturridge, and referenced it to the 15 months he had to wait for Gundogan.
The small things he is doing is what makes him elite.

Sturridge, if they can get him right, will play an instrumental part in the way we will dictate the terms of the game we play.

Looking on the up.

Getting the small things right- it's what separates Germans from the rest of the world.

that wasn't your point though, you raised ayre's sojourn as some high probability of securing the signing, when history has proven otherwise time after time for whatever reasons...

Resorting to shifting goalposts again when shot down...
And If you're going to insult someone at least try and be original, you're again just proving to be another Facebook nuff

Except before you made that little remark about Ayre, no one even suggested that his sojourn implicates a done deal. Obviously my point was stop trying to piss on everyone's chips just because you can't bear to see FSG and co. prove you wrong about how ambitious they are.

I don't know why you're handing out advice on original insults when your only insults are facebook nuffie and rawk brigade...

And no shifting goalposts here from me, the only shifting I see is your truth deflections to advance your narrative that FSG aren't ambitious- "damn, Teixeira is just another young potential player we are paying through the roof for." In case you didn't notice, we don't need to pay through the roof for a young potential player called Teixeira. He's already on our books.

 suggest you check again who brought up ayre's trip first.

you lost track of your own bs.

as for teixeira's "proven ability" how's firmino going at the moment? lead the bundesliga for a season didn't he? remember a bloke named amir zaki? i bet you were creaming over him too?

there's ability....and then there's proven ability.

OK, so now you imply that every single proven player hits the ground running in their debut EPL season- a 100% safe transfer. All those proven players like Veron, Ozil and etc. Tore it up in their first seasons  . Veron never even settled for that matter...

And now you're comparing Amr f**king Zaki to Teixeira? Oh lord...

there's a word called probability...look it up. a player with proven class will more likely produce proven results...it's that simple....it's never a guarantee. we, as a club who choose to buy at say 60% probability rather than 80-85% to save a few bucks (usually because proven quality means older age = less resale value = fsg's method).

and no i'm labelling you as one of those champ manager supercoaches who think 1-1/2 seasons of success is "proven quality"

i take it you've found now who quoted ayre first.....more than happy to keep putting you back in your box.

Brilliant. Thanks for clearing that up for yourself!

When a 26 year old AM scores 22 total goals the previous season, and already surpasses that same tally by January this season, any reasonable observer would classify Teixeira as proven enough. But because his name isn't on the back of Bayern's shirt, his time at Shakhtar is apparently still less proven than Costa's at the same club. So much for all that perspective you possess.

So you want a pat on the back because you merely pointed out that I 'quoted Ayre' first? You're getting none from no one else so knock yourself out I guess.

well done for finally admitting you f**ked up....albeit whilst backed into a corner

costa has been producing results for seasons upon seasons, not 1 and a half.

Nope, you're weaseling. Using the old 'yeah well ain't my fault he wen't shit' excuse. Funny thing is how quickly you proclaimed him as a proven star in the first place. Totally betrays your idea of not labelling players as proven so fast. So how many perspectives did you use on that

And as for me, you're just telling more lies. I admitted straight away that I was the first to say Ayre went to Florida. For some mysterious reason you have a massive hard on about that...
