The person who LFC have working on the Klopp deal is apparently back in Liverpool today after being at our London offices last few days, which is apparently a good sign it's all wrapped up and just needs to be announced.

Coaching staff has been let go as well with Gary Mac offered another role within the club.

And Lijnders kept on too.

Mourinho will stay for the time being, I think Chelsea's vote of confidence was genuine.

Press conference Later today or Friday morning in the UK. Klopp has apparently been quoted saying "from tomorrow I am 24/7 a Liverpool man".

Welcome Jurgen Klopp. Cannot actually believe we've gone from BR to Klopp in the space of a week. So freaking happy and excited to see where we go as a club now.

Still can't believe that we have signed him. In my wildest dream did I ever think we'd attract someone like Klopp to lead the club. Take my hat off to FSG for this one.

Can't wait to see the atmosphere at Anfield for Klopps first home game. It'll have those European nights feel to it for sure

Hats off to Ayre, Gordon and Werner for this one. They targeted their man and got him. This will be the last thing Ayre probably does.
Word is he won't be renewing his contract and will become the C.E.O of Standard Charter. FSG have their hands in the pie in them as well.

Nicola Cotese is the man they want to take over, which I am happy about. Michael Zorc and the BvB head scout are out of contract this year as well and are prepared to come and work with Klopp again.

The guy is just a friggen asset.

And let me drop a money ball on ya'll... Piszczek, Hummels, Suboteic, Sven Bender, Gundogan, Ruesand Lewndowski all signed for less than we paid for Lallana and Lambert.

Let that sink in.

Jurgen f**king Klopp baby!

Cortese was the guy who organised the current Southampton owners to buy Southampton back in 2009. He is a banker by trade. The owners were so impressed they made him C.E.O.

He was critical in getting them from second division to Premier League. He stepped down at the end of the 13/14 season, which was their most successful season on the pitch and commercially.

FSG have a massive hard on for him.

Some google search articles on him aren't the best of reading, but he is very well known now in football circles.

So what are everyones expectations? 3 points from 4th. 6 points from first.

I am going with a top 6 push, and a trophy run. He will need to pick up some good players in Jan. Hopefully a DM, RCB and fullback cover.

Europa league needs to be taken seriously as well.

Top 6 minimum for sure this year. We haven't lost to much ground atm with some big teams dropping points also which is handy.

CB is a must in Jan.

Interested to see what he does with sturidge, Big Ben and frimino and how they will fit in to the system. Also interested in the formation we will use.

Players like Ibe and Gomez have a big chance here with Klopp to set up a big season personally.

whether LFC can now attract more top quality signings or not, Klopp's recruitment record with cheap obscure players at BVB is very encouraging.

I reckon he'll play 4-2-3-1 like this

----------------Migs
--Clyne---Sakho---Skrtel---Moreno
-----Lucas/Milner----Henderson
----Sturridge---Firmino---Coutinho
--------------Benteke-
