I think my patience has almost run out with Carroll, and many players to be honest
Yet another 0-0 draw

We're f**king shit. Watched the first half before i gave up with stream/not being able to find my glasses.

Downing was reasonably at times. Gerrard as good as he could be and Enrique good. Thats about it.

5-4-1 against Stoke at home though? f**k me.

You guys looked a lot more dangerous with Carroll on the field. Obviously he had a pretty poor game but for some reason you were better.

If you've lost your patience with anyone it should be Dalglish. Why the f**k would you play 5 defenders against Stoke when they're obviously just going to defend.

Your problem is Henderson. He keeps getting in the way of your attacks.

If you insist on playing him, stick him on the wing instead of Kuyt. Let Gerrard run the middle playing of Carroll and put Downing on the left.

Then play your two defensive mids in Adam and another.

Hendersons better in centre I think, but there's not room for him and Gerrard. He plays similar to gerrard but obviosuly, at this point, Gerrards better.

Kuyt jumped the shark this season, he's been quite bad which is a shame, he's never been technically good but always loved his attitude

Its because Kuyt is on his way down that i would put Henderson on the right.

He may be better in the centre, but at the moment thats where Gerrard is at his best, and you have to play your only world class player in the position that he is best.
So Henderson can get experience, with a bit less pressure on the wing, whilst watching and learning of Gerrard about how to play in the centre properly so he can take over one day.

Henderson is not a "wing" and imho should never play there (it's well known he is one of the most technically gifted young players in the country but his thinking is all off). I agree that he is a "long-term" buy but even to gain experience, he would be better off playing down the middle NEXT to Gerrard not watching him from the wing. On that note, the only reason he is playing is because of his price-tag. He should be back up at central mid and Spearing should play. Kenny should let Spearing do the dog-work and tell Adam and Gerrard to focus on attack. Especially Adam, he seems shackled of late (especially now Gerrard's back). Would not mind giving Bellamy a run up front no matter how old those legs are with Kuyt on the right and Maxi/Downing down the left.

Well he played "wing" for Sunderland on many occasions, so he is.

Anyone who is "well known as one of the most technically gifted young players in the country" should be able to do a better job of being a winger than Kuyt.

He's not even the most technically gifted youngster at Liverpool so why would he even be close to that in the entire country?

Shelvey is already better than Henderson is and if i could have either at Arsenal it'd be Jonjo every time.

Technically he's no where near players like Shelvey, Josh McEachran, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere, Jake Livermore. And that's only midfielders. All he has over most of them is age.

If his claim to fame is how technically gifted he is that's 16 mill down the drain, cause he's shown next to nothing since you got him.

His hair is pretty cool though.

The hype around Dalglish has worn off it seems, it was only a matter of time.

Liverpool spent ridiculous amounts of money (56mil) in the summer yet ended up with very little.

Henderson: Barely an average youngster. At best he will be a decent EPL player, nothing more.
Charlie Adam: Average player coming from a bottom table club.
Downing: Very limited player. Again an average EPL player at best.
Jose Enrique: The clubs only good purchase, very good player and at a good price.
Coates: Jury is out, will give him a year to settle in before I judge.

Not to mention making Andy f**king Carroll the 8th most expensive player in the world, FMD.

Why Liverpool bothered signing overpriced garbage like Henderson and Adam when someone like Scott Parker was available on a free transfer is absolutely beyond me.

Liverpool's best player at the moment is Craig Bellamy, FFS.

Was that ever confirmed? There were a number of different figures floating around, didn't see one that low though

So it's a rumour like all the others then?

Not that it really matters, particularly given what teams thread this is about.
