Were you watching the game through FoxSports? The commentators for the channel FoxSports liase with said it was understandable that Suarez was booked.
I also recall multiple times them saying how tough Parker is.....

I don't know how the f**k you got any of that from watching the game on Fox Sports.

When the commentator says "A yellow? Really?", that is not the same as saying its understandable.

When the commentator says "Parker stayed down for a while earlier too but made a remarkably quick recovery" and "Parker's made his second remarkable recovery", its not a compliment on his toughness. They're saying he pretends to be hurt far more seriously than he actually is.

I love Bale, my favourite player, but he dives nearly as much as anyone in the EPL. It's frustrating, because he often does get taken down, and every time he dives the refs will just be wary of it the next time he actually does get fouled.

I am an admirer of Suarez the player, but the man sometimes acts like he doesn't have half a brain. I am hoping his latest comments are simply media spin, but would not be surprised if they were not really. Somebody needs to tell him the stfu. Never thought I would be saying this either........but Dalglish could be doing a lot more to better the situation as well.

Suarez is, clearly, a merkin. He's certainly not alone in the premier league/professional sport in that, but there's no point denying it.

But he's our merkin!
Guess he's just one of those players that are loved by his own club's fans hated by everyone else.

As for tonights game, I'm pretty nervous about it..usually I'm confident when playing United these days but its going to be extra hostile and tough there tonight.

Aside from Craig Bellamy, has Dalglish signed one remotely good player?

Enrique started well but has regressed. Struggling tonight.

The rest are duds. "King Kenny" won't cop deserved criticism because he is a club legend but if I was a Liverpool fan I would be filthy spending so much money on utter garbage.

Charlie Adam I'm happy with. Suarez was a great signing although I don't know how much Kenny had to do with it. Downing is clearly out of his league though, Henderson too.

It's the team selections that baffle me though. Spearing is barely Championship quality, yet he starts way too often. Tonight, he went in trying to secure a 0-0 draw. I can't think of any other reason to play such a slow, negative game. We finished one goal behind and could have almost snatched a draw, but in reality the performance deserved a 3 or 4 goal loss.

On Spearing he's being picked because he's the only type of player that Kenny thinks can fill the role that the Lucas filled.
It took them 3 years to develop Lucas(after Alonso)and just as Lucas was starting to look a footballer he gets injured.
I think they should just change that system completely but thats the style they want to go with.
It might bind the defence up but we havent got the players in attack to be the finished product just yet.I keep harping on about Kuyt but I dont care if he's the hardest trying footballer on the planet he isnt the man for the job.
Henderson is a work in progress I can live with.
Enrique is back after a week following a hamstring injury.I can forgive him too as he's been going ok.
Bellamy goes better with Carroll than Suarez too so its a balance issue.
Carroll has played ok recently but he should of sat on the bench tonight for the whole game given his contribution.
Its the lack of movement off the ball thats the problem with the team.Having said that I think there may be factors outside of football that had an effect tonight and thats issues between our own players.

Aside from Evra almost taking out Ferdinand it wasn't a good game. We were shit our passing game was at best pedestrian. Charlie Adam, Craig Bellamy and Andy Carroll should of all started. Charlie Adam has an accurate passing game and showed it with his assist, Craig Bellamy has been in clearly better form then Downing and Kuyt and I think Carroll has started to get his confidence back and could have given them a second player up front. Jose Enrique also looked a bit unfit as well coming back from injury.

I can't understand how anyone can be happy with Henderson. You paid €20mil for him and the guy can barely pass the ball. He is an average player at best.

If you pay so much for a player he has to be something pretty special. Henderson is not.

I am another one who recently called for Spearing to play, again, only because he is the closest thing to a "Lucas" we have. As many people are suggesting, I think it is fair to say we went there for a point and "maybe" stealing it.

As for Suarez.........his rating as a person keeps dropping in my eyes.I get the feeling the crap might hit the fan soon. Kenny looks like he has had enough. :x

To be honest I'd piss him off. Had enough of his off field shit. Quality player but that's just not good enough.
