Replace Johnson by playing 4 centre backs.
Play a guy who has scored in every game at centre forward on the right and the guy that plays on the right who hasn't scored in the middle.
Should've hooked Henderson in the second half but couldn't because he had to replace centre backs.
The loss of Coutinho upset the whole balance of the side.ID hoped they'd leave Sourez on the bench but its a no brainer now that he has to play.
Not whinging but we couldn't buy a free kick from that ref and then the replacement linesman chimed in with a few touchy decisions against both sides.
Glad that games over it was horrible.

I am guessing now with Lucas is out we will will see Gerrard and Henderson in the middle of the Park. It might be the perfect game (without underestimating palace) too see Alberto again. To me he is more of a 10 than Moses is.

This transfer window is vital. Get this right, and we will be challenging the big boys.

What was our points tally after 11 games last year

Can't see it.

The only teams you've beaten are Stoke, Villa, United, Sunderland, Palace, WBA and Fulham. Aside from United who were absolute shit at the start of the season, the highest place team you've beaten has is WBA in 11th.

Surely it must concern you that you've dropped points against every decent team you've played (apart from United obviously).

Fwiw, i'd rather see the likes of you and Spurs in the top 4 than Al City and CSKA Fulham.

We simply cannot drop those points at home.

Need to flog them, then hope we turn up like last night against both teams away.

Atleast we have set ourselves up for a fair crack at the top 4.

I don't think they'll drop points to Cardiff. After what happened against Hull, I think they'll be mentally ready. I dare say BR will remind them of that Hull game all week. They cannot afford to drop points when you consider they face Man City on Boxing day and then Chelsea on 29 December - you'd think it'd be unlikely they'll come away with 6 points from those 2 games so Cardiff is important.

Suarez is now the highest paid player in LFCs history. £200000 p/w apparently.

Signed until 2018 with a $100m buyout clause. Although it does look like he can leave if we don't achieve CL qualification.

160k a week for the remainder of the season and 200k from next season onwards. World class wage for a truly world class player. Great news and cheering the buy out clause would be worth an absolute motza.

30 years since we won away to Stoke.
Well this game proved 2 things.

1.We can attack as good as any side currently in the EPL

2.We haven't got the defence to win the EPL.

For years we've needed a winger now all of a sudden a few defenders wouldn't go astray.

Also how long to Skrtel gets nabbed for a holding foul in our own penalty area.Nobody could be surprised when he gets penalised you just have to work out which game it will happen in.
We haven't had much luck in a few of the big games recently but the good thing is all the major contenders have to come to Anfield starting with the neighbours in less than 2 weeks.

Spot on Foz, said the same thing a couple of weeks back when Skrtel basically pulled off a copybook League tackle on someone inside the box.

Our set play defence is borderline embarrassing.

Most big games at home will ultimately determine where we finish.

We need a holding midfielder and 2 fullbacks.

Glen Johnson looks way to comfortable with no pressure on him, its a shame Kelly has busted legs, because IMO he is our best defender, in terms of pure defense.

Coutinho, Henderson, Sterling Aspas and Moses can stay on the wings, and SAS can push wide, but we need to address those 3 positions.

Yann M'Villa and 2 fullbacks and we are in with a good shot at top 4.

You're in with a chance for top 4 without them anyway.

As long as Suarez keeps pissing on the **** sides you'll get there.

M'Villa is an interesting one. Was linked with United and Arsenal a few years ago but ended up going to Russia or where ever. Apparently he's a bit fckd in the head but there's obviously a bit of talent there. Could be a good pick up if you can sort him out.
