I agree with non-terminator, I never understood the attraction with the song Fools Gold. Whilst I love Heart's a Mess, I am very surprised to see it so high in the all-time countdown.

I have just never seen the hype in either Green Day or Smashing Pumpkins. Despite them both having some ok songs over the years.

But Life On Mars, Paint It Black and Lithium are fantastic.

I agree on Green Day, but the Pumpkins really have won me over.

I'm a little unlike most in that I never worked out the interest in Bowie's music, I havent found any of his songs that do anything for me.

the entire song is based around that one classic groove and the wah wah guitar riff.


In it's day it was quite ground breaking....in terms of getting that manchester sound stuff out the the rest of the world.
