I didn't think Stewart got within the 10.
Fear priority of the NRL needs to be putting control of the clock in the referee's hands ASAP instead of some local dumbass. I'm sure it is not difficult in today's world I have a siren remotely linked to a timepiece on the ref's wrist
The last try was fair incidentally.
The schizo world of LU.
"They use the video ref too much, just let the onfield officials decide!"
Then
"Why didn't they go to the video ref!!!!"
How do you know for sure when it wasn't checked?
Stewart didn't get within cooee of the ball in the last try.
Fair try everyday of the week.
Gud to see the refs making a decision by themselves, it was an open field play, they often give those without going to the video-ref;
Fair try. Manly won. Suck it up.
Manly at Brooky what do you expect, NRL got what they wanted today they f**king hate our club will do anything to bring us down. f**king dogs.
Why did the clock have to be stopped?
They don't stop it until the conversion has taken place. And because they didn't go to the video ref there was no reason to at all.
Yep, Manly were gifted everything all day. At 12-0 the penalty count was 4-0 to Penrith and Manly's first penalty was on the first tackle right next to the sideline (they must have gained about 5 meters and 0 tackles from it).
They brought in a rule this year that the clock gets stopped in the last 5 minutes when points are scored. That is how Melbourne had time to kick their second field goal in Round 2 remember?
Stop the clock: During the last five minutes of a match, the clock will stop following a conversion or penalty kick at goal until play restarts at halfway. The interpretation change will add excitement during close matches, provide consistency across matches and reduce potential time-wasting.
I'm not convinced Idris lost the ball before the second last try.
How do you know for sure when it wasn't checked?
