Same team. Not overly impressed with Hoffman, Pearce or J. Reynolds but we all have our preferences and dropping them all would do more harm than good. The rest of the team is absolutely fine.

Farah has a broken nose and cheekbone, can that heal in 3 weeks? I suppose he's already played a half of football with it so I imagine if it's close he'll play. Even though it's not ideal you would think Ennis would be the sensible replacement, he's been there before and is playing decent football. Gidley won't be fit in time I don't think and it's asking a bit much of Hinchcliffe.

I was talking about his career to date, mate.

& don't come at me with his form the last month like the rest of his career doesn't matter.

Ferguson is a textbook example of a guy who will never hold it together long term like Merritt has.

He won raiders player of the year last year at the gh ?

He's been great for Canberra mate.

NSW Team for Game 2 should be:

Hayne
Morris
Jennings
Morris
Ferguson
Malony
Pearce
Gallen
Farrah
Tamou
Lewis
Hoffman
Bird

Fifita
Merrin
Watmough
Reynolds/Grant

So only 1 or 0 changes. Keep the same team for next game, combinations will be more fluid, there will be more confidence between players on who's inside and outside them and they will just know each other better. One message I would drive home if i was Daley is HOLD ONTO THE FXXKING BALL!!!! They could have put 30 on Queensland if only they didn't drop the ball so much.

Let me put it this way --- if Merritt can be season top try-scorer in the wooden spooners (only player in history to achieve that, BTW), do you think maybe he could duplicate in this team?

Where is Ferguson's name in the record books? Maybe one area --- having the longest recorded sook about being elbowed in the head outside Northies? Stood out there crying for what seemed like days one night.
NSW won the game 14-8... Not 52-49. Being top try scorer in a wooden spoon team means he can score tries, but clearly isn't the greatest defender in NSW. You don't win a wooden spoon for rock solid D.

The size of Fergo was important last night. That's the reason he was correctly picked. Lozza was smack on the money on that one.

Ferguson was great under the high ball, and ran strongly the few times he had the ball in attack. He was left posted by his inside men for the Boyd try. A solid debut, no way should he be dropped. Amadaca proving yet again that he has no f**king clue about anything.

Last I checked, a backliners foremost responsibility is to score tries.

f**king nobody does that better than Merritt.

Grant in for Tamou! That's who I was thinking of for the chop. Tamou played like shit & shouldn't have been there in the first place, while Grant never deserved to be cut.

Tamou isn't even f**king Australian

If its 2-3 weeks then Farah's fracture is what they call a "stable fracture" meaning the bone is not detiorating or getting dmdaged further, instead the calcification starts sooner and it's a more fluent healing process. Given he's in good health (Which as a footballer he would be) and with good management by his doctor he'd be ready in 20 days for sure.

Like what?

Fact, if A Reynolds played wed night and did the exact same things as pearce he would have been lauded as our saviour by all the dribblers on here.

Could never happen. Reynolds couldn't do what Pearce does on the field, because Reynolds doesnt play like shit.

Oh, my. Didn't expect this. I was just ribbing you, but this shows you're serious as a heart attack. You actually care whether I think less of you or not.

Here's the skinny --- I do

I live or die by your opinion of me :(

Amadaca it is obvious that you are biased towards Hayne due to the fact that he was one of NSW best players the other night and yet you rated his performance as ok at best, with the stipulation that he was due for a shit performance next Origin.

You also obviously want to have sex with Nathan Merritt. If scoring tries is the only thing that a winger needs to be able to do, i'll take Brett Stewart on the wing for the next game, how about we bring Beaver back to play wing? He could find the try line, even better than Merritt can. If scoring tries is all a winger needs to do, then these two players are even better at it than your boy Merritt.

I don't get it, everybody in this thread disagrees with you, not because it is your opinion specifically. But because there are so many better alternatives to what you are suggesting (such as sticking with the current team).

In closing, i'd like to know however. Is your ego so big that you genuinely think that you are right and literally everybody else is wrong?
