Maloney....best half in the game? He's not even the best half at Penrith
He has been a lot better than Cleary this season and was clearly the best half in origin.

Lucky we have the V12 engines of the kiwi props.Packers 50mtr carries per game allow us to not need any depth in the front row department !So we are losing 3 props (Sue, Grant, Felise) and haven't signed anyone to replace them??

Additionally we r fortunate to have Huth the hard running gazelle able to b considered as a full time prop !
The top teams invest so heavily in star talent that realistically they are only 2 maybe 3 injuries away from being ordinary themselves.
Melbourne and Penrith were absolutely ravaged by injury this season and both played finals football; Melbourne probably in the GF.
It's all about roster management and having strong pathways in place for the juniors coming up through the ranks.
Stability helps too, although it didn't really seem to affect Penrith this season.
Teams like the Roosters may be stacked but they're only a coupla injuries away from disaster.

Luke Brooks - 24/25 games winning 50% of all games played in
Benji Marshall - 21/25 games winning 57% of all games played in
Russell Packer - 19/25 games winning 58% of all games played in
Ben Matulino - 23/25 games winning 52% of all games played in
Our so called clutch players don't do it for us like the players outlined who can take ordinary players/sides and turn them into world beaters.
Lol 3/4 of our spine were out most of the year you numptyYou miss the point Tiger05. Melbourne and Penrith may have been hit by injury this year but their key players, the ones who are paid to win them games and make their teams gel, played majority of the season. Their win records go to show that are the key to success.
Do you think Melbourne or Penrith make it if Smith, Slater and Maloney missed most of the season? I think not.

U want to win a comp u need aggressive props who can bend the line & can play for 50 -60 mins & give u >130mtrs of machismo carries per game.We r deadset fkd in the front row department thanks to the moronic recruitment by the phoney bus driver.
As soon as Cleary returns to b Gould’s bitch once again which I think will b for next season he ought to b compelled to take the useless kiwi props he signed with him.
