If Tahu is fit then I'd use all 3 of those second options. Tahu would add strike so we wouldn't need to take the punt on Mateo, but if he's not there then IMO we need Wagon out wide to mark Inglis and Geyer and Mateo taking risks in the middle.

I also think for us to progress in this competition Cayless has to play at least one more match! Even if he doesnt get through the whole game, even if it is with twenty needles, he needs to play! I will never forget the game Webcke played against us with a "broken" arm. Played the whole match with his arm straight down by his side......... and got the Broncos into the GF over us!

He cant wait and hope we will get to the GF, he needs to get us there.

Being a final is exactly the reason I'd take a punt on Mateo. It's a win or season over. We've been carrying an ineffective bench anyway (basically playing a man or two short). It all depends on if you think we can win with our current line-up. If we're just gong out there to try hard then we might as well not bother.

I wouldn't go with Lewis or H Perenara. From what I've seen of them in first grade, they are way out of their depth.

We'll have to wait and see what happens with Tahu and Vella. I also have to say that Ben Smith has been pretty awful lately. I don't know if he's wearing cement shoes or something, but Delaney has actually been more effective. Ben Smith is a huge guy, but just isn't using it at all. Hopefully he can hit some form next week because we really haven't even seen a glimpse of what he used to be since he's come back.
